Crystal Clear Revitalising Tonic

Facial Mists have really taken off recently, but I’ve always been a fan of using them even if it’s just a can of Thermal Spring Water, I find them to be so refreshing and they really help to stop my makeup looking cakey after applying my powder. Luckily for us there are a lot of facial mists to choose from now, and many of them boasting skin-loving ingredients and recently I’ve been loving the Crystal Clear Revitalising Tonic 200ml £21. Crystal Clear is a luxurious salon beauty brand that has been going for 21 years which offers both in-salon treatments as well as products.

The Crystal Clear Revitalising Tonic is a vitamin packed spritz that provides a fine layer of instant hydration whilst also cooling and soothing the skin and boosting your state of mind. Described as being a three in one – it works as a toner, a facial freshener and a spirit lifter with an alcohol free formula. The tonic combines refreshing cucumber extract and marine oligo elements with mineral salts to leave the skin revitalised and energised whilst enhancing the skin’s elasticity. The mist contains vitamins C and B, mineral salts and marine extracts, zinc and copper.

The Revitalising Tonic has a lovely fresh scent which I have to say, I find myself using the tonic more than I need to as I love the scent so much and I love the effect it has on my skin. I would describe the hydrating effects as being on par with the Clinique Moisture Surge Facial Spray which I love, however this one wins out of the two as this one’s fragranced and the Clinique spray is fragrance free so it depends on what you prefer from a facial mist.

I like that I can slot this spray into different parts of my skincare routine, with the first use being after I’ve cleansed as a toner, or after I’ve applied my primer before my foundation, or I like to use it over my finished makeup for a slightly dewy finish, which helps my makeup mesh together a little better. You really can use this spray in anyway you wish to, and I like that it’s a 200ml bottle as quite a few facial mists come packaged in small bottles but I like that this one will last me a good amount of time. When I use this spray on my bare skin, it leaves my face feeling so soft and smooth and noticeably more hydrated and it’s been a great little skincare discovery.
