I always really look forward to the Look Incredible Beauty Boxes as they, in my opinion are the best beauty boxes within the UK. They have two different box subscriptions; the £18.99 Standard Box and the £35 Deluxe Box. What makes the Look Incredible boxes stand out amongst the other beauty box brands is that they contain full size products from well known brands. You don’t have to worry about minuscule perfume vials or beauty box exclusive brands which you can’t buy anywhere else but the beauty box’s shop so it’s technically their own brand’s products which always leaves me feeling a little cheated in all honesty. I have both Standard Box and the Deluxe Box to feature this month so I’m kicking things off with the rather fabulous Look Incredible February Standard Box but a little spoiler – BOTH boxes this month are incredible.
The first product in the Look Incredible February Standard Beauty Box is the Nails Inc NailKale Nail Polish in the shade Westbourne Road worth £15. The Nails Inc NailKale polishes are 5 Free (so they’re free from; Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor) and the kale element is said to enrich the Nails with vitamin A,C and K to stimulate advanced keratin production as well as hydrate and nourish the nails. The Westbourne Road shade is my kind of shade as it’s a beautiful grey tinged lilac which I’m excited to use as I really do love shades like this and I like the wife, curved brushes of the Nails Inc polishes.
Then we have the Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in the shade Natural Rose worth £15. I’ve only ever tried the Korres lip balms and body products so I had no idea that they did makeup. This lipstick is a pretty rosy pink which looks to be a very wearable hue and the mango butter enriched formula sounds lovely and nourishing for the lips.
The next item in the Look Incredible February Standard Beauty Box is the Fresh Beauty Face Essence with Green Coffee which looks to be a discontinued product. The Face Essence is described as a revitalising and hydrating Essence that is formulated with green coffee to shield and rejuvenate skin cells. I like using essences on my skin but I’m not a coffee fan whatsoever so I probably won’t get any use from this but I’m sure I’ll be able to find someone that can.
Then we have the very exciting Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky Eyeshadow Palette worth $19.95. I’ve got quite a lot of the Coastal Scents Shadow Pot shadows and I really like them so I’m thrilled to have one of their palettes within the box especially as it contains 20 different eyeshadows. It’s very obviously inspired (read: copied) by the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette but the shades look stunning regardless.
The last item in the box this month is the Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner worth £22. I do already own this brow pencil but it’s a dual ended pencil with a skin coloured highlighter on one side and the other side is the brow pencil for drawing in brow hairs. Intriguingly enough, there’s only one shade available which is an ash brown which supposedly matches every brow shade.
I really am impressed with this month’s Look Incredible February Standard Beauty Box. The value you get for just £18.99 is unbeatable, and with a great mixture of makeup, nails and skincare. It’s hard to believe that for £18.99 you get five full size products but the likes of Birchbox rarely give full sizes for £13 a month so to me it’s a no brainer and I’m yet to be disappointed by any of the Look Incredible boxes.
I’d love to know your thoughts on this month’s Standard Box? Are you tempted?
