Sigma Chroma Glow Shimmer and Highlight Palette

Sigma Chroma Glow Shimmer and Highlight Palette

I have a fair few Sigma products within my collection and everything I’ve tried is great quality. I don’t feel like Sigma gets enough hype here in the UK, but you can purchase their products from Beauty Chamber so you don’t have to worry about customs fees or taxes and the Sigma Chroma Glow Shimmer and Highlight Palette £29.95 is their newest launch. Highlighters were a massive thing in 2017 so I’m intrigued to see if they’ll still be as popular in 2018, but multidimensional and multifaceted highlighter shades are becoming increasingly more popular. The Sigma Chroma Glow Shimmer and Highlight Palette contains six large 4.69 gram pans of powder highlight, and Sigma claim that the bottom row of shades can be used as both an highlighter and a blush. The packaging is amazing, with an oil slick like design on the lid and a metallic pink colour for the rest of the palette with a pretty strong magnet too.

Get lit in 6 unique and dazzling shades. These multifunctional, multifaceted shimmer pressed powders go on smooth, and feel soft and creamy on the skin. The 3 shades on the bottom row can also be worn as blush with a stunning sheen. Take your glow next-level ethereal with the daring, duo-chrome shade, Zeal. This palette has a highlight for every mood and occasion, it doesn’t disappoint.

  • Peaceful: Subtle-sweet, peach pink
  • Ambrosia: Light, pop-princess pink
  • Zeal: Aqua purple duo-chrome
  • Bedazzle: Bold, warm peach sizzle
  • Lush: Searing-hot pink
  • Felicity: Cool, crystal lavender

All six shades within the Sigma Chroma Glow Shimmer and Highlight Palette are incredibly soft and silky, but even though they’re soft they create only a tiny amount of kick up when using a brush. These are some of the prettiest highlighter shades I’ve ever used, and the texture is so smooth. Sometimes with colourful, more multidimensional highlighters they can be a little chunky or textured on the skin but these are all so smooth and flattering on the skin. The first two shades; Peaceful and Ambrosia are more wearable, everyday shades for my skintone whilst the other four are a lot more unique.

The most unique shades within the palette have to be Zeal which is the most amazing, duochrome shade and Lush which has the prettiest sparkle without being at all glittery and obnoxious. I am extremely pale so I can’t get away with using Zeal or Lush on my skintone even with a light hand, but I love using all six shades as pretty eyeshadows too (both dry or damp) and I always get compliments when wearing them as they are so unique. If you have a deeper skintone that mine, I imagine you’ll be able to use all six as highlighters, blushes and eyeshadows. It’s amazing that you get 28 grams of product for £29.95 as it nearly works out at a gram per pound which is fantastic value, as each shade is so beautifully pigmented I don’t think I’d ever be able to hit pan on these stunning shades.

I’d love to know your thoughts on these beautiful shades?
