NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly Review and Swatches

The minute I saw that NARS were releasing a new range of concealers, in an amazing ten shades I prayed there’d be one pale enough for my polar bear complexion. Sure enough, NARS decided that pale complexions need concealing too and ‘Chantilly’ ( described as; True ivory shade for fairest complexions) looked like it could be ‘the one’.  I love my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and have done for near enough 10 years now, way back when I started using makeup.. but have been so impressed with my NARS Sheer Glow, that I wanted to give their concealers a try. Especially when I read the amazing rave reviews about the new NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer £24 from Cult Beauty.

The concealer is packaged in a long rectangular tube, with a doe foot applicator, which happens to be my favourite type of applicator. The lid is of a rubbery texture, like their blush and bronzer compacts. Got to love the little touches! However, it will get the typical grubby appearance if you close it with concealer fingers.

Funnily enough the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is very creamy, and quite thick in consistency but blends easily. Usually I’d expect a radiant concealer to be quite sheer or dewy. I’ve found that this concealer makes a perfect concealer for covering dark circles under the eyes, one dab of the concealer under each eye is all I’ve needed to use to brighten my under eyes, and hide any late night evidence.

However, as the concealer is quite thick it does cling to any dry skin you might have, so I’ve found that using a rich moisturiser first around the eye area before applying the concealer works brilliantly. PLUS, it doesn’t settle into any fine lines around the eye area, which is pretty impressive for such a thick concealer. As far as blemishes are concerned, the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly is pretty amazing! It covers any redness, and helps make the blemishes look a lot less noticeable, without looking cakey.

It lasts around 4 hours on me, but I’m forever touching my face unknowingly so my concealer and foundation always needs touching up. I am so impressed with this little beauty! £21 is quite expensive for a concealer, but it’s the best concealer I’ve ever used, in my perfect shade Chantilly. It’s long lasting, as well as brightening under the eyes. This is pretty much perfection in a tube, in my opinion. I love love loveeeee it!
