Another day, another Urban Decay review – I can’t help myself, I’m obsessed. I professed my love for the new Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks in the shades Streak (here) and Turn On (here) and mentioned I’d indulged in quite a few shades of the lipsticks and the matching lipliners. The Streak lipstick is a gorgeous warm toned coral pink with a beautiful glossy shine. If you’ve read my blog for a while now you’ll aware of my (slightly out of control) addiction to all things coral, so Streak is my perfect lipstick shade and I knew I just needed the matching lipliner. Plus I own a whole host of other coral lipsticks which would work well with it too.

The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils
£13 1.2g are available in 16 different shades, with a majority of the shades having the matching shade and name as some of their Revolution lipsticks. The lipliner pencils have the exact same packaging as their 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner Pencils, so I’d recommend storing them away from your Urban Decay eyeliners if you own any, to avoid a potentially hilarious crisis.
The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils are waterproof, and long lasting which glide effortlessly across the lips. There is no tugging whatsoever and the creamy formula is quite forgiving with dry patches too. The liners contain Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Cottonseed Oil which keep the lips nourished, moisturised and hydrated so the lips don’t feel dry during or after wearing them.
The pencil barrels are colour coded, which is such a good idea so you can easily tell the shades apart if you own multiple liners. Urban Decay even do a ‘clear’ lipliner in ‘Ozone’ which can be applied under ANY lipstick and lines the lips and prevents bleeding or feathering which is amazing.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Streak Swatches
The Streak liner is an identical match to the Streak lipstick, which you can see in the very last photograph. However the Streak liner has a satin finish rather than the glossy finish the lipstick has.. plus the Streak liner does contain micro silver glitter particles, which I’m not entirely sure why?
I do like the silver glitter as it looks really pretty but for a ‘matching’ lipliner, I do find it odd that it would contain glitter when the lipstick doesn’t. Bizarre glitter aside, this is a fabulous lipliner. It’s so easy to apply, smooth, creamy, pigmented and long lasting. It looks really pretty when worn alone, as well as a base for the Streak Lipstick.
think £12 is such a good price for them, and think they’re so much better quality than the MAC Lip Liners and I think 16 shades is really extensive for a lipliner range. If you love lip liners, or you’re wanting to try a lipliner I totally recommend these
24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencils – they’re the best lip liners I’ve tried so far, by far!
