I’m a huge eyeliner fan, and own a massive collection of pencil, gel and liquid eyeliners. I wear eyeliner everyday as I have really short natural lashes, so a slick of black liner on my top lash line gives the appearance of longer more noticeable lashes. I do wear line along my waterline frequently too, but it’s my lashline I religiously line on a daily basis. My liner medium of choice has to be a liquid eyeliner with a flexible brush as I find them to be the easiest to use. However I’d seen quite a few glowing reviews for the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner, and considering it’s small price tag of just £2.99 I knew I had to try it for myself.
I already own the MUA Felt Tip liner, which is good but not as long lasting as I’d like it to be, so the 24 hour claim on this liner really appealed.. not that I’m planning to wear my makeup for that long. Although I have to say that both the MUA liner and this liner
are near enough identical in both appearance and name to the Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner.

The felt tip liner has a long nib, with a very small point allowing a very neat thin line which is exactly what I want for my lash line without looking OTT. The nib doesn’t have any flexibility, and is quite firm making it really easy to apply. I really like how wet the liner is too, so there’s no need to go back over the line you’ve drawn, and the ‘ink’ is perfectly opaque which is exactly what I look for in an eyeliner. I’d have to disagree with the whole 24 hour wear time claim (surprise surprise) as I’ve found it to last around the 6 hour mark before any signs of crumbling or smudging are visible.
I can’t believe this liner is only £2.99, and that I’ve not seen more reviews dedicated to it. It ticks all the boxes I look for in an eyeliner. It’s long lasting, opaque, very black and easy to apply and remove. It’s the perfect eyeliner for thickening up the lash line
on a day to day basis, although I’d use my liquid liner on the days I want to wing my liner out, or have more dramatic eyeliner.
