Sleek’s limited edition Spring/Summer collection was called the Aqua Collection, and true to Sleek‘s collections there was an i-Divine eyeshadow palette and blush released. The Mirrored Pink blush didn’t appeal to me at first as it’s way out of my comfort zone, as I much prefer peach blushes. However I took a punt and bought Sleek Mirrored Pink as I’d seen some lovely reviews and swatches and knew that at only £4.49 it was worth a try especially as I’ve loved all of the Sleek blushes I’ve tried.
Sleek Mirrored Pink looks like a scary metallic pink in the pan, however swatched it’s more of a dark pink with a silver shimmer running through which is why it appears to be quite metallic. Sleek Mirrored Pink is described as a ‘reflective gleaming pink’ which is pretty accurate, and it’s amazing that the blush is under £5.
Sleek blushers are the most pigmented blushes I’ve ever tried, which never fails to impress me considering they’re just £4.49 each. Mirrored Pink is no different, if anything it’s even more pigmented with only the slightest touch of brush necessary to pick up ample colour.
The pigmentation is so strong that a light hand is essential, as it’s so easy to over do it. There’s no doubt that this is a stunning blush, but I just don’t think it suits me unfortunately which is such a shame. The silver shimmer within the blush imparts a really pretty glow to the skin, without the need for highlighter.
I think Sleek Mirrored Pink would be better suited to a darker skintone, as it just looks a bit too garish on me.. although I cannot fault the formula as Sleek blushes are amazing. I’d love to know if you have any Sleek blush recommendations? They’re such lovely blushes and amazing for the price.
