Sigma Enlight Collection – The Lipglosses; Tint, Hint and Tranquil Review / Swatches

3rd December 2013

Sigma Enlight Collection makes its exciting debut on the 9th of December at Beauty Chamber, and a pretty gorgeous collection it is too. The Enlight Collection ‘includes an array of products with a new take on neutrals’. I love neutral and nude makeup, and have the mindset that less is definitely more on occasions so this collection is just perfection. The whole 16-piece Sigma Enlight Collection can be bought in its entirety, as well as each piece individually. The collection includes 3 makeup brushes, 3 blushes, 3 Sigma Lip Vex glosses, 3 eyeshadow bases, 3 eyeliners and an eyeshadow palette of 12 neutrals shades. You can see the whole collection in all its glory here, and it’s safe to say I want to own every single item. I’d seen a couple of my favourite YouTubers use the glosses from the collection, so I couldn’t wait to try them for myself.

The three glosses from the collection are Tint, Hint and Tranquil. Each of the glosses are packaged within clear plastic tubes, with black matte lids. The glosses have a thin brush for their applicator which I really love as it’s much easier to get a more precise, even application of gloss.

The glosses have a delicious, but subtle vanilla scent which fades once the gloss has been applied. As far as formula goes, these Sigma Enlight glosses have the most perfect lip gloss formula, in that they’re not at all sticky but they have enough stick within them that they’re long lasting. I love the formula so much, they’re so easy to wear and once they do begin to fade – they fade evenly too. All three of the glosses have a semi-opaque finish, providing enough colour to be worn alone or for adding colour to a lipstick when layered over the top.

The three glosses are of a cream finish, without any glitter or shimmer which is my favourite type of gloss. Tint is a coral shade within the tube, but on the lips it’s a little more pink, but Tint goes perfectly with both any coral or pink lipsticks (98% of my lipstick collection!).

Hint is my favourite shade from the trio, which is almost a milky, lilac shade which is seriously stunning – it looks absolutely amazing layered over MAC Creme Cup. It’s such a unique shade in my collection, and one which has already had a lot of use. Tranquil is a berry shade, which isn’t too dark which I love as it’s a lot more wearable than a darker shade and works beautifully at darkening and transforming a ‘concealer lips’ lipstick.

All three shades are incredibly wearable, and pretty in their own right and I love them all. I cannot recommend these glosses enough, if you’re a lipgloss lover or a lipgloss loather, I guarantee you’ll fall head over heels with these new Sigma Enlight Lipglosses.
