Barry M Fuchsia Lip Liner Review / Swatches

I own a huge collection of lip products, but the one product I don’t own very many of are lip pencils. I probably only own four or five, and they’re all either coral or nude shades. I’ve wanted a bright pink liner to match my Vivo Wow Pink Lipstick (review) and other bright pink lipsticks so I decided on the Barry M Fuchsia Lip Liner.

When shopping I came across the Barry M Lip Liners, which are available in a total of ten shades and cost just £2.99 each. Barry M is a brand I’ve tried a huge amount of nail polishes from, but I’ve never tried any of the other makeup products.. so I was unsure how good quality their lip pencils would be, especially at just £2.99 each. Barry M describe their liners as being velvety smooth, with a creamy texture that are firm enough to draw a precise thin line, yet soft enough to colour in.

Some lip liners I’ve tried perform better once they’ve been warmed up, but this Barry M Lip Liner is amazingly smooth and creamy without needing to be warm. I couldn’t believe how smooth the pencil was on my lips and on my skin. It glides across the lips without any dragging. Fuchsia has a completely matte finish, so for it to be this creamy and soft is quite remarkable.

I agree completely with the description that the pencil performs well at pencilling precise lines, as well as colouring in the lips. The liner is a touch drying on the lips so I always liberally apply lipbalm prior to applying it, to keep my lips as nourished as possible. Barry M Fuchsia Lip Liner is so unbelievably bright.. almost neon, so I wouldn’t wear it alone but if I had a paler, more wearable shade I’d definitely wear it alone.

As a lip liner it works perfectly at prolonging the wear of my lipstick, and makes the overall finish look so much more perfected. I’m in awe of this Barry M Fuchsia Lip Liner.. £2.99 is such an amazing price for a product that performs just as well as my favourite Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Liner.. except it’s £10 cheaper. If you’re looking for a smooth, creamy long-lasting lipliner I cannot recommend these Barry M Lip Liner’s enough, and with ten shades available, there’s bound to be a shade that appeals to you.
