Soap & Glory The Missing Pink Super-Colour Collagen Boosting Fabulipstick

Soap & Glory is one of my all time favourite brands.. I love their bath, body, skin and makeup products. The Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder (review) is my most favourite face powder of all time. After One Heck of a Blot, my favourite Soap & Glory makeup product without a doubt is their Lipsticks. Their Lipsticks are available in two types; Soap & Glory Super-Colour Fabulipstick Collagen Boosting Lipsticks and Soap & Glory Fabulipstick Powdercoat Matte Lipstick. I’ve already featured one of each type here on my blog – Guavarama (Collagen Boosting) and Blush Pink (Matte). I’ve recently added another shade to my Soap & Glory Super-Colour Fabulipstick Collagen Boosting Lipstick collection, in the shade Soap & Glory The Missing Pink £9*.

The Soap & Glory Collagen Boosting Lipsticks are packaged within a black, glossy, metal casing which feels quite weighty. The lipstick bullet contains an embossed S&G within it, which I really like.

The Soap & Glory Super-Colour Fabulipstick Collagen Boosting Lipsticks are said to contain plumping pre-peptides and hyaluronic acid for a soft, smooth, dewy, plump pout. They also contain vitamin E and shea butter which give the lipsticks a really moisturising effect when worn on the lips.

These lipsticks have such a lovely consistency, and really are comfortable to wear. I particularly love how with this Soap & Glory formula, I don’t have to prep and exfoliate my lips.. as they apply so smoothly without exacerbating any dry patches or imperfections.

They don’t bleed or feather, nor do they dry my lips out. They just have the most perfect lipstick formula.. although I can’t say I ever notice any plumping effect from wearing them, like they claim.

The Soap & Glory The Missing Pink is a rosy pink shade that would suit so many skintones as a ‘my lips but better’ shade. The Missing Pink is nicely pigmented, with an opaque finish in one swipe.. leaving a pretty shine to the lips that almost looks as if I’ve layered gloss over the top.

It’s such a natural shade that just pulls my whole makeup look together on days where I’ve gone for a more natural look. I think this would be a gorgeous shade to be worn both during the day and at night – it’s just so pretty. For a lipstick as creamy and smooth as this I was really impressed by it’s three hour weartime before the need for touch up’s. I’d liken this formula to that of the YSL Rouge Volupte’s, it’s equally creamy, pigmented and glossy.

The Soap & Glory The Missing Pink reminds me of a much more pigmented and opaque version of MAC Hue.. or the Cremesheen version of Hue. I think £9 for the Soap & Glory lipsticks are really good value, as they have the most perfect lipstick formula with a great shade range too.
