I’m a massive Makeup Revolution fan, and have already reviewed quite a few of their products (here), so I was very excited to get my hands on a selection of their new releases which launched yesterday (13th June). Makeup Revolution already have an incredibly extensive range, which they have added to with; Eyeshadow Palettes, Blusher Palettes, Concealer Palettes, Foundation, Bronzers, Contour Powders, Primer, Concealer, Baked Eyeshadows and more.
I was very kindly sent four of the new releases to review, however I’m not a blogger who receive an item one day and then ‘review’ it the next, I like to be able to fully trial and test a product for at least three weeks before writing a review. So I wanted to show you the products today and then my full reviews will follow once I’ve had chance to fully try them.
Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush and Contour Palette – Sugar and Spice £6*
This palette is absolutely beautiful.. I can’t believe it’s only £6. There are two different Ultra Blush and Contour Palettes to choose from, and each contains eight large pans of blush/contour powder. The palette contains a mixture of matte and shimmery finish powders to allow for blush, contouring and highlighting. I’ve not seen a palette quite like this before, and the packaging feels very sturdy and substantial. I’m particularly excited to try the end two merged powders.
Makeup Revolution 5 Baked Eyeshadows – Chocolate Deluxe £2.50*
There are five different shade combinations of the 5 Baked Eyeshadow Palettes. I have the shade Chocolate Deluxe, which contains a beautiful mix of brown and pink shadows. I love baked eyeshadows so I can’t wait to see what these shades look like, both wet and dry. How beautiful is that yellowy pink shade on the bottom row?
Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Girls On Film £6*
I am so excited about the new Makeup Revolution Salvation Palettes! I love the standard Salvation Eyeshadow Palettes, so I know I’m going to love these too. There are five limited edition Salvation Palettes; each contain an impressive 18 eyeshadows – the rectangular pans are all shimmer shadows, and the bottom circular pans are matte shadows.
The palette is again really good quality like the blush palette, and contains a large mirror within the lid. Girls On Film is packed with gorgeous neutrals and I hope they perform as well as they look like they’re going to. Amazingly this palette is inspired by the Duran Duran hit; Girls On Film.
Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette What You Waiting For? £6*
OK.. Serious love for Makeup Revolution for creating a Gwen Stefani inspired palette. All of the names are from Gwen Stefani’s ‘What You Waiting For’, which is amazing. Just like Girls On Film, the palette contains 18 matte and shimmer shadows.
This palette is also packed with neutrals, but it contains more pinky toned neutrals which I love. Every single shadow looks beautiful, I’m chomping at the bit to get swatching.
Aren’t they beautiful?!
So they are the new releases I’ve been super lucky to get my hands on.. I seriously want to buy the rest of the new releases. I love how unique they all are, and that no-one can smack a ‘dupe’ on any of them! Which is your favourite? Which would you like me to review first?
