No7 BB Lips Beauty Balm in Blink Pink Review / Swatches

The No7 BB Lips Beauty Balms are described as being an all-in-one lip balm that provide 3 lip-loving benefits of; Beautiful Colour, Soothing Nourishment and UV Protection with an SPF of 15. There are six shades available to choose from, each retailing for £9. The reviews on the Boots website for the BB Lips are amazing with 61 reviewers giving them 5 stars, so I knew I had to try them for myself, especially as I’ve seen many reviews where they’ve been described as being a dupe for the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors, which are double the price.

I have the shade Blink Pink* which is a beautiful, sheer baby pink shade without any shimmer particles. It’s the perfect pinky nude shade as it’s almost identical to my natural lip colour. The No7 BB Lips Beauty Balms are packaged within a plastic squeezy tube, with an angled plastic applicator.

I’m not normally a fan of such applicators as they don’t offer any precision, however because the balm is so sheer the angled applicator works absolutely fine. I really love the consistency of this BB Lips Beauty Balm as it’s really creamy, and ‘balmy’ like you’d expect from a lipbalm however it has the high shine and pigmentation of a lipgloss without any stickiness. It’s the perfect hybrid of a lipbalm and a lipgloss.

The formula feels very comfortable and hydrating on the lips, and after it’s worn off (after around an hour or so) it leaves my lips feeling and looking nourished and silky smooth. If you don’t like wearing lipgloss, the No7 BB Lips Beauty Balms are the ideal solution as they look super pretty on the lips whilst delivering the moisturising benefits of a lipbalm with the added bonus of the SPF of 15 too. This has become my new handbag staple for the days where I don’t want the fuss and maintenance of wearing lipstick. Ever since I got this No7 BB Lips Beauty Balm, I’ve not reached for any of my other lipbalms…
