Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Goddess of Love Highlighter Review / Swatches

Meet my new favourite highlighter. After falling in love with the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters (reviewed here), I never expected to find a new highlighter love interest so soon and certainly not from the same brand. Makeup Revolution recently launched six ‘Blushing Hearts’ which are all baked and include an highlighter, two bronzers and three multicoloured blushes and cost just £4.99 each. Each of the Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Blushing Hearts are packaged beautifully in the shape of an heart, and are very much inspired by the equally beautiful Too Faced Sweethearts Blushes – yet £19 cheaper. When making my recent Makeup Revolution order, I couldn’t find any swatches online of the blushes as they were so newly released so I decided to purchase the Goddess of Love highlighter and wait for reviews to filter out so I could see what the pigmentation was like of the blushes.

The I ♡ Makeup Goddess of Love Highlighter is packaged within a stunning, shimmery, heart shaped, sturdy cardboard box with a lid. I didn’t expect the highlighter to be as big as it is; it contains an impressive 10g of product. The Goddess of Love Highlighter is triple baked and just looks beautiful.

In the box the highlighter is a champagne shade, however when swatched or applied to the skin, it becomes an absolutely gorgeous subtle pinky violet shade which is so unique to any other highlighter I’ve seen. The Goddess of Love Highlighter has a lovely, smooth texture with very fine shimmer particles which don’t emphasise the pores.

The texture of this highlighter is even silkier than my MAC Lightscapade highlighter which is amazing considering this costs only £4.99. I absolutely adore this I Heart Revolution highlighter, and would even go as far to say that it’s my favourite Makeup Revolution product I’ve tried so far…
