Makeup Revolution have released even more products to their extensive range of products, in the form of two Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palettes in Eyes Like Angels and Flawless each retailing for a very purse friendly £8. I have had the pleasure of testing out the Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyes Like Angels Palette and I can’t quite believe how incredible it is….
The Eyes Like Angels Palette* is packaged within a silver metallic box which looks really sleek, with the palette itself being contained within a glossy, black, large plastic palette complete with a very generous mirror within the lid.
The palette is very thin and compact and would take up very little room when travelling. The Eyes Like Angels Palette contains a selection of wearable neutrals, brights and smokes whereas Flawless is a neutral shadow lover’s dream.
The 32 shadows are laid out in four rows of eight shadows and are all individually named which I love. I seriously don’t know how Makeup Revolution can think of any more shade names!
When I first saw the shades within the Eyes Like Angels Palette I didn’t think it was something I’d get very much use out of as I much prefer neutral shades but after swatching the first two shades, I was bowled over with their amazingness….
Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyes Like Angels 32 Eyeshadow Palette Review / Swatches
How incredible are these shades?! So many of the shades made me say ‘wow’ aloud, and there are only three shades which I’d describe as being disappointing which is amazing for a 32 shadow palette. Peach Cream (3rd in top photo), Pink (6th in second row) and Bold Purple (3rd bottom row) are all quite disappointing in terms of pigmentation and texture but the other 29 are absolutely fantastic.
Some of the shades have a beautiful duo-tone finish to them making them so unique. Row three has to be my favourite row of shades.. but I love them all. All of these swatches are from circling my fingertip in the pan twice and then one swipe without primer.. the pigmentation is beyond incredible and it’s surpassed my expectations.
I really, really cannot recommend this palette enough.. even if you don’t like colour, this palette is absolutely ideal as it allows you to experiment with colour very affordably. I so desperately want the Flawless Palette now and would love to see how it compares to the Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyes Like Angels Palette… Makeup Revolution really can do no wrong right now.
