There’s a blog post title I never imagined I’d write on my blog. I have to hold my hands up and say I’m not an One Direction fan – shocking I know. I just haven’t gotten excited about a boy band since I was about 12 so I was never interested in trying the One Direction fragrance Our Moment Eau de Parfum. However.. every review of the One Direction Our Moment perfume I’ve read has been positive and I noticed that Superdrug had the 50ml eau de parfum on offer from £28 down to just £10, so I decided I just had to try it for myself.
The packaging and bottle design are very obviously targeted at fangirl teens. The bottle is pretty enough with the perfume itself being
blush pink coloured, and the lid is crown shaped with a centre of blush pink tulle.. but it’s not something I want on my dressing table as I’m 27 and a pink ballerina tutu perfume bottle isn’t really me.
One Direction Our Moment Eau De Parfum Review
One Direction Our Moment contains top notes of pink grapefruit, forest fruits and red currant.. middle notes of freesia, jasmine and frangipani and base notes of patchouli and musk. As you can imagine from the notes, Our Moment is very sweet and fruity. When it comes to fragrance I love sweet or woody scents and tend to prefer more sweeter scents during the summer.
Our Moment is ideal for summer as it’s sweet but not too overpowering.. it reminds me of a
fruity body spray rather than a perfume, and has the lasting power of a body spray at around an hour and a half hours maximum. If you like a sweet, fresh fragrance to wear then I’d recommend snapping up this 50ml bottle whilst it’s £10 at Superdrug, but I really don’t think the One Direction Our Moment Eau De Parfum is worth its £28 price tag as it just doesn’t last on the skin.. it’s so weak for a supposed ‘eau de parfum’ – I’d prefer to buy a 200ml
Victoria’s Secret Body Mist for £14.99.
