Nothing makes me want a product more than a product I can’t get my hands on in the UK.. words cannot even describe how much I want the new Lorac Pro 2 Palette. Another product I’d been lusting after was the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer. I was very lucky to receive the ‘Fair’ shade in my international beauty swap however I really wanted to try the Maybelline Neutralizer Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer which is only available to purchase in the US.
I was very excited when I saw my favourite eBay seller (they sell lots of US exclusive products) stock both the Neutralizer and Brightener shade so I snapped them up for £9.99 each (now sold out but available here) which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the standard Maybelline Eraser Concealer retails for £7.99 at Boots and Superdrug.
Maybelline Neutralizer Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer Review / Swatches

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer £9.99
The Maybelline Neutralizer Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer (what a name?!) is designed to be a treatment concealer that instantly erases dark circles, fine lines and reduce puffiness and contains Goji Berry and Haloxyl. The Neutralizer shade is specifically targeted for those who suffer with dark circles, and has a slight yellow tone to it to help counteract under-eye circles.
The packaging is really good and practical in a plastic tube, with a fluffy sponge on the top which the concealer dispenses through which you then use to apply to the skin.
I was worried that the Maybelline Neutralizer Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer might have been too dark for my pale skintone, but luckily it blends into the skin really well. In terms of its neutralising benefits.. I can’t say I’m blown away.
The concealer does minimise the darkness slightly, but no better than my Body Shop Lightening Touch Concealer. The formula is quite thin and watery so it doesn’t offer very much coverage so to be honest, I would prefer to just use an under-eye concealer instead.
