The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector are probably Clarins’ most popular products amongst the bloggersphere along with their Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner.. they have quite the cult status. Until recently, I’d never actually tried any of the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors, but they’ve been on my beauty wishlist for some time now. The Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors are available in six different shades, and the tube of the product is the same shade as the product inside which is great if you own several shades.
They are described as being a softly textured lip gel that leaves the lips soft, smooth, shiny and plump. They contain shea butter, wild mango and plant perhydrosqualene to repair and soften the lips whilst vitamin E and A reinforce the repairing action and protect against free radicals.
I was really impressed when I saw all of the benefits listed for this blogger favourite, as I’d always assumed they were just a standard lip gloss. I have the shade Rose Shimmer* which is a super subtle rosy pink that is pretty identical to my natural lip colour.
The balm dispenses through a sponge tip applicator which actually helps to gently exfoliate the lips during application. I love the gorgeously glossy finish that Rose Shimmer gives my lips, without any stickiness or gloopiness whatsoever.. it feels just like a glossy balm, and is lovely on the lips. I adore the delicious, sweet vanilla scent, which lingers on the lips after application.
Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector Swatches
Once I’ve applied the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector to my lips, it leaves them feeling instantly soft, smooth and hydrated and I like that I don’t need to apply a lip balm prior to applying Rose Shimmer as it’s really moisturising on its own.
I really can see why the Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector are so hyped now, they’re the ultimate lip gloss and lip balm hybrid that looks so pretty on the lips and really compliment any makeup look. For a more intense effect, I like to apply the Rimmel Eastend Snob Lipliner all over my lips, then use Rose Shimmer
over the top for the prettiest, petal pink pout.
