The Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads (reviewed here) are incredible and are possibly my favourite skincare product of all time, so I was really excited to learn that Nip + Fab had created a brand new skincare range. The new Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix range was inspired by the best-selling Rodial Dragon’s Blood range, and the Dragon’s Blood Fix Range is designed to help achieve plumper, smoother and more youthful skin.

The Dragon’s Blood Range sounds a little scary, but the ‘blood’ is actually created from the resin of the Croton Lechleri Tree which is also known as the ‘Dragon’ Tree. The red resin has been used since ancient times as a varnish, medicine, incense and dye and now is being used in the new Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix skincare range.
The Dragon’s Blood Fix range consists of three products which can be bought individually, or as a trio set from the Nip + Fab website.

Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads £9.95*
The Dragon’s Blood Fix Cleansing Pads are designed to refresh and smooth the skin. The plastic pot contains 60 textured, circular pads that are enriched with Salicylic and Hyaluronic Acids which work to deeply cleanse your pores and provide long-lasting hydration to help the skin appear plumper. They also contain Witch Hazel which helps to reduce the appearance of imperfections, reduce any redness and tighten the pores.
The Dragon’s Blood Fix Range Fix Cleansing Pads have quite a strong scent to them compared to the Glycolic Fix Pads, which can be a little overbearing when you open the pot.. however once you’ve used the pad on your face and neck, the scent does disappear within around five minutes.
I wouldn’t describe the scent as being unpleasant as such, it’s just quite a strong potent scent. One notable difference between these and the Glycolic Fix pads, is that these are a lot more ‘wet’ so they feel much more refreshing and leave my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. I like the textured pattern on the pads, as it helps to gently exfoliate the skin and leave it feeling super smooth.
The first time I used these cleansing pads, I was blown away as I had a couple of blemishes beginning to form under the skin and the very next day they’d nearly disappeared. The pads magically stopped the blemishes in their tracks overnight so they never developed which is incredible. After using these pads, my skin is instantly left feeling plump, smooth and hydrated which is amazing considering they’re so effective at targeting blemishes, as blemish busting treatments tend to leave the skin feeling quite dry.
I love, love, love these new pads even more than my beloved Glycolic Fix pads, which I never expected and I could rave about these for a whole post.. if you have blemish prone skin, you need to try these cleansing pads.

Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Mask £14.95*
The Plumping Mask is described as an intensely hydrating gel mask combining skin perfecting complexes to plump the look of wrinkles and refine the skin’s appearance for a brighter, more youthful complexion. It contains Dragon’s Blood (again resin from the Croton Lechleri Tree) to form a protective film on the skin to protect against environmental aggressors, Salicylic Acid to cleanse pores and aid exfoliation, Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and refine the skin’s texture, Glycerin to draw water to the outer layer of the skin to keep it moisturised and lastly TEGO Cosmo C250 to brighten the skin and fade age spots.
To use the mask, Nip + Fab recommend applying a thick layer to the skin for ten minutes and then rinse, or you can use it as an intense treatment by leaving it on overnight and rinsing in the morning. Once first applied to the skin, it feels quite wet but when you come to rinse the mask away, most of the mask has already absorbed into the skin. The gel texture is so soothing on the skin, and I like to keep the tube in the fridge to intensify the cooling and soothing effect.
This mask would be amazing to use in-flight or if you had sunburn or inflammation as it’s extremely hydrating and soothing. Even after ten minutes, it leaves my skin feeling amazing and looking plump and radiant. I really love that this mask gives such noticeable, instant results and it is just perfect for my dry and dehydrated skin.
Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Serum £19.95*
The Dragon’s Blood Fix Range serum described as a lightweight serum that delivers an instant shot of moisture to dehydrated skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and refine the skin’s texture, Dragon’s Blood to form a protective film on the skin to protect against environmental aggressors, Velvet Flower to enhance moisturisation and illuminate the skin and Gransil EP-9 to absorb any excess oil and smooth the skin.
The serum is to be applied before your moisturiser of choice, and has a milky gel consistency that massages into the skin beautifully, leaving my skin feeling so soothed and silky. This is such an hydrating serum, that instantly injects moisture into the skin. The consistency and effects are very similar to the mask, except as this is a serum, you can apply this twice daily rather than a treatment with the mask.
This serum leaves the surface of my skin feeling so smooth and even, making it an incredible base for makeup as it helps to minimise the appearance of dry patches. Just like the mask, I like to keep this serum in my fridge, as I find it to be so much more effective at soothing and de-puffing the skin and it’s gentle enough for me to apply around my eyes too.
The new Dragon’s Blood Fix Range is seriously good, and I am so impressed by each product as they all leave my skin feeling so soft, looking plump and the surface of my skin is a lot smoother thanks to this trio. If you’ve been dying to try the best-selling Dragon’s Blood range from Rodial, I’d really recommend trying this budget friendly alternative range from Nip + Fab.
