OPI Coca-Cola Nail Lacquer Collection Review / Swatches

OPI are renowned for creating amazing collections and collaborations, and their newest is possibly my favourite so far. OPI have teamed up with Coca-Cola to create a large collection of stunning Coca-Cola inspired nail polish shades. The OPI Coca-Cola Nail Lacquer Collection £29.95* includes 10 x 3.75ml bottles of polish, including nine different coloured polishes, and one OPI Top Coat. The polishes from the OPI Coca-Cola Nail Lacquer Collection can also be bought individually too, in the full size as well as a Duo Set.

OPI Coca-Cola Nail Lacquer Collection Review / Swatches
This set is such an amazing idea as you get the chance to sample the whole OPI Coca-Cola collection, with travel-friendly sized bottles.. and if you’re anything like me, you very rarely (if ever) finish a full size bottle so these smaller size bottles really are perfect.

OPI Coca-Cola Nail Lacquer Collection
Even though the bottles are 3.75ml each rather than 15ml, they still have a decent size brush which I love. I often find that with miniature polishes, they usually have a small, narrow brush which makes application quite tricky but with the mini OPI polishes, they just as easy to apply as the full sized equivalent. OPI are definitely one of the best nail polish brands.. their nail polish formula is second to none, and I’ve never found an OPI polish that disappointed me. There isn’t one polish in this set that disappointed me – I’m so impressed with their formula.

Swatch photo of the Coca-Cola Red, Today I Accomplished Zero and Turn On The Haute Light
Coca-Cola Red: The signature shade in the collection which is described as a ‘classic red’ that’s always in style and always perfect. This is a gorgeous, bright cherry red with incredible coverage in just one coat on the nails but I needed two for the white nail wheel. This shade was inspired by the classic Coca-Cola.

Today I Accomplished Zero: This is a really unique shade to my polish collection.. A black jelly base that contains dark red mini and medium glitter particles. This shade needs three thin coats and the pretty sparkle will be perfect for Christmas. This shade was inspired by Coke Zero.

Turn On The Haute Light: This shimmery silver polish almost has a foiled effect, which I love. Amazingly enough, this is just one coat.. which is rare for a shimmery polish. I imagine this would look fab on an accent nail with black nails. This shade was inspired by Diet Coke.
Swatch photo of You're So Vain-Illa, Sorry I'm Fizzy Today and Get Cherried Away
You’re So Vain-illa:  This is a beigey nude, which reminds me of a slightly lighter Nails Inc Porchester Square. I love nude nails, so I really like this shade.. it’s the perfect nude shade for my skintone. It has a satin finish, although a glossy top coat makes it nice and shiny. This shade needs two generous coats and was inspired by Vanilla Coke.

Sorry I’m Fizzy Today: This shade is a medium pink cream with a super glossy finish. Just like You’re So Vain-illa, this shade needs two generous coats for full opacity. This makes for the perfect toenail shade, and was inspired by again by Vanilla Coke.

Get Cherried Away: isn’t really a ‘black cherry’ like it’s described as, I’d liken it to more of a plummy purple. This shade was a little bit streaky even after two coats, so I think this might be a three coat shade. This shade was inspired by Cherry Coke.
Swatch image showing Green on the Runway, A Grape Affair and Orange You Stylish

Green On The Runway: is a gorgeous green and brown duo chrome shade with a shimmery finish. This is a really unique shade which looks quite striking on the nails.. it even looks purple in some lights. This is another slightly streaky shade, but three thin coats gives a nice even finish. This shade was inspired by Sprite.

A Grape Affair: this is a deep, dark purple with a gorgeously glossy finish. I think I’ll get a lot of wear of this shade throughout the Winter months, and I think it’ll look lovely with a silver glitter topcoat layered over the top. This is two thin coats of polish, but I think that it might need three for a more even finish.. This shade was inspired by Fanta Grape.

Orange You Stylish: could this be even more perfect for Halloween? A bright orange cream that’s fully opaque in two coats. I love this shade and I think it might be my favourite from the set. This shade is an EU exclusive and was inspired by Fanta.
I really love this OPI Coca-Cola Collection and the great variation in shades. I already love the OPI Top Coat, so I’m really happy to have a miniature back-up as it gives such a shiny finish and prevents any chipping for at least five days. £29.95 is such good value for this set as it works out as just £2.99 each, and there isn’t one disappointing shade in the whole collection. I think the OPI Coca-Cola range would make for a perfect Christmas gift for any nail polish lover, or even a Coca-Cola obsessive.
