Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Moisturiser Review

I love beauty boxes as you get to try products that you might not normally get to try. In my June Birchbox, I got a tiny 5ml tube of the highly coveted Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré which is something I’d been wanting to try for such a long time, so I was super excited when I saw it within my box. From the very first try, I knew I loved it and ordered the full size from Escentual straight away as I knew I needed the full size. The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is available in two sizes; 30ml and 75ml, but I opted for the 30ml size initially but I think I’d perhaps plump for the 75ml size when my 30ml tube runs out as it’s much better value.

The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré claims to be a multipurpose moisturising cream that is rich in natural active ingredients. It can be used on babies, children and adults on both the face and body and provides comfort, soothing repair and lasting moisture to ensure better elasticity and suppleness. The formula includes shea butter, beeswax, soy and aloe vera to leave the skin smoothed, plumped and soft. Not only is the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré a moisturiser, it can also be used as a makeup removing cleanser, applied as a thick mask, used as a makeup primer or even as an after-sun treatment.

The cream is packaged within a metal tube which probably wouldn’t travel very well as the tube could easily split. The Lait-Crème Concentré has quite a strong yet lovely fragrance which hasn’t aggravated my sensitive skin, but it’s something to consider if your skin reacts to fragranced skincare.
I love how rich this moisturiser is.. it sinks into the skin quickly, but leaves my skin feeling intensely nourished with my dry patches feeling as if they’ve been coated in a moisturising mask. Due to how rich it is, it might be a little much for those with oilier skin types as it does leave a very slight residue on the skin to keep the skin moisturised throughout the day.
I really like that when I apply the Lait-Crème Concentré, I don’t need to use an additional primer as it doubles up as primer. I have to completely agree with the hype around this product.. it’s just so good, and leaves my skin feeling incredible and my dryness has definitely improved since I started using it. If you have dry skin, I urge you to try this moisturiser.. it will completely wow you – I guarantee.
