I’m a big fan of the Sigma Lip Vex Glosses (reviewed here), so I was happy to learn that Sigma were releasing three more shades as part of their new Fall Softly Collection. The Sigma Fall Softly Lip Vex Collection includes three shades; All Heart, Tender and Slip retailing for £7.95* each from Beauty Chamber.. the collection also includes a stunning eyeshadow palette, four blushes and three lip liners – the whole collection is beyond gorgeous and quite frankly, I want everything.

The Sigma Lip Vex Glosses have been designed to compliment any makeup look and have an opaque, creamy and smooth finish as well as being paraben free. Each of the Lip Vex’s are packaged within a clear tube with holographic lighting which I really like, and a small brush applicator which I really do prefer compared to a doe-foot applicator as it’s so much more precise and you can really build the colour up.
All of the Sigma Lip Vex’s have a subtle yet delicious vanilla scent, with a slightly sticky formula which isn’t remotely uncomfortable but the stickiness helps the glosses to stay put for longer with a weartime of around three hours.
Sigma Fall Softly Lip Vex Collection Review

All Heart is described by Sigma as being a sheer chocolate brown which isn’t something I’d go for as I just cannot pull off brown lipstick and gloss shades. In the tube, All Heart is a milk chocolate shade however when applied to the lips, it’s very sheer and only very slightly darker than my natural lip colour so I’d describe it as being a darkish nude shade.
I love wearing All Heart as it does compliment any makeup look (or skintone) as it’s very subtle in terms of colour, but it adds stunning shine to the lips as well as making them look bigger and plumper.

Tender is described by Sigma as being a sheer candy pink which is a spot on description. This is my favourite shade from the three as it looks pretty when layered over pale to medium pink lipstick. Tender is quite sheer although you can build it up by applying a more generous layer but if you do build it up, it does tend to gather in the lines of my lips so it looks better when worn quite sheerly.

Slip is described by Sigma as being a peachy nude although I beg to differ as I’d describe Slip as being a milky coral with a golden shimmer. Slip is amazingly opaque but as it’s quite a pale coral it can make my lips look a little concealer-esque so I prefer to apply a light layer with the brush applicator, and then use my fingertip to dab the gloss into my lips although I like that Slip doesn’t gather in the lines in my lips like Tender does. I think Slip is a really pretty shade, and the golden shimmer is gorgeous… if you love a nude lip, you’d love this gloss.
All three of these glosses in the Sigma Fall Softly Lip Vex Collection are amazing, and they’re all so wearable which I love.. especially as most Autumn collections include berry tones or reds, whereas the Sigma Fall Softly Lip Vex Collection is quite soft and romantic and one that I imagine will be super popular.
