Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Naked Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette Review / Swatches

Makeup Revolution’s newest eyeshadow palette, which launched last week is the I ♡ Makeup Naked Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette which joins their existing I Heart Chocolate and Death By Chocolate palettes. The Naked Chocolate Palette is just £7.99*, and contains sixteen different eyeshadows in a white chocolate bar design palette.

The I Heart Revolution palette is quite bulky, and heavy due to the chocolate bar design but I actually quite like the quirky packaging. The shadows within the palette are all very neutral which pleases me greatly, and the shadows are a combination of shimmers and mattes.

After I’d swatched the first row, I noticed that my hand smelt very sweet so I thought that the palette must be scented? However as I hasn’t seen any other bloggers say they’d noticed the sugary scent, I decided to ask Makeup Revolution themselves.. and sure enough, the palette contains natural cocoa powder which is such a sweet touch (‘scuse the pun).

Firstly I have to say that this is the BEST Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette, I’ve ever tried. Just look at those swatches.. look at the pigmentation of those matte shades. I’ve never found a budget makeup brand that can pull off good matte shadows, until now.. these mattes are genuinely on par with those from Urban Decay which is just incredible.

There isn’t one disappointing shadow in the whole palette – all sixteen shades are amazingly pigmented, smooth and creamy, and they all apply and blend beautifully. If you buy one product from Makeup Revolution, you need this Naked Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette… it’s seriously impressive, and they just keep raising the bar with every new release.
