MUA Undress Your Skin Baked Bronzer Review / Swatches

If you saw my recent MUA Haul, I bought a selection of MUA’s newest releases; one of which was the MUA Undress Your Skin Baked Bronzer. I’m not generally a fan of baked bronzers as I don’t shimmery bronzers but I do like both of the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters, so I thought I’d give it a try as I thought I could always use it as an eyeshadow if not a bronzer. For £3 you get a massive 10g of product which is the same as the MAC Mineralised Skinfinishes which cost £23 each. The packaging is nice enough for a budget brand in that it’s sturdy and functional with a clear lid, and hasn’t been damaged in my makeup bag (touch wood).

The powder is domed, with obvious gold and white shimmer veining which looks really pretty, however I was disappointed after the first swatch as the veining pretty much disappeared from the pan as it doesn’t go through the whole bronzer.. it’s more of a overspray on the very top of the powder.

The finish of this bronzer is very shimmery initially, however once the veins of shimmer have worn away, it’s more of a satin finish (as shown in the swatch above) which I personally prefer as I find it to be more wearable although it is quite warm toned, it’s not too dark which I love.

My favourite thing about the Undress Your Skin Baked Bronzer has to be how long wearing it is.. it really does last and last with a wear time of at least six hours which I think is quite impressive for a shimmery baked product. I feel like MUA do a really good job when it comes to baked powders like their Undress Your Skin highlighters.
