Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7 in 1
I really love a good beauty multi-tasker, especially in skincare as I am definitely more of a makeup lover than I am a skincare lover but I know that to have good makeup, it’s all about the quality of the skin underneath. I remember a time when I would just apply a moisturiser in the mornings and use face wipes to remove my makeup in the evenings and that was the entirety of my skincare routine. I’ve come a long way since then, and I love nothing more than a pampering skincare session and trying new brands. Antonia Burrell is a brand I’ve tried a small amount from, so I was intrigued by the Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7 in 1 (available from LookFantastic £65) – can a product really have seven benefits in one?!
“The Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7-in-1 is the perfect companion to fight against your skin care woes. Boasting seven different actions, the mask works to hydrate, smoothen, purify, repair, clarify, illuminate, protect and perfect your skin. Skin will be left feeling brighter and healthier after only a few applications.
The powerful formula of the mask is made up of botanical ingredients. The Oleosome technology improves skin’s suppleness as well as maintaining its moisture levels whilst the phoridium extract fights against signs of ageing as it protects the skin from harsh external aggressors such as the sun.
The mask helps to remove impurities from the skin thanks to the bentonite clay extract whilst the Amazonian Bio-Active reduces the appearance of imperfections. Abyssinian oil helps to keep lines and wrinkles at bay whilst frankincense and rose geranium oil leave the skin feeling renewed and revitalised.
In addition, all of Antonia Burrell’s range contains violet grass which helps to preserve natural ingredients therefore prolonging the life of her products.“
How to use the Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7 in 1:
“Apply an even layer to the face and neck. Leave for 10 minutes and remove with a hot cloth. For an added boost, leave Mask Supreme on for longer or even over night to benefit from the Oleosome technology and other fabulous plant bio actives so they can work hard for your skin as you sleep. “
The Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7 in 1 comes with an handy little spatula so you can scoop out the amount of product you need, and the packaging is very luxurious with a black, glass jar which is very heavy and perhaps not something you’d want to use in a bathroom with tiles incase you accidentally dropped it. There’s no denying, this is an expensive product so I did expect great things. Does it deliver all the seven claims; hydrate, smooth, detoxify, repair, clarify, illuminate, protect and perfect? I’d say it does yes.
My favourite way to use it is as an overnight mask whenever my skin’s particularly dry or lacklustre, and it doesn’t transfer to my pillow which I always appreciate with an overnight skincare treatment. In the morning I wake up to plumped, smooth, hydrated skin which looks and feels as if I’ve had a facial. I don’t find the mask to illuminate my skin, but that could be because my skin’s so dry. When applied to the skin, although it claims to detox the skin, it’s never stripping or harsh nor does it harden whilst drying so it’s lovely for my sensitive skin.
Usually with a face mask you either get detoxifying benefits or hydrating benefits, but I find that this mask delivers them both. It helps my skin if I’ve got under the skin blemishes, or inflamed active breakouts but it nourishes dry patches at the same time which is so rare for a mask. I will be gutted when this mask runs out because it’s so pricey, and whilst it’s not something I’d repurchase right now, as I have so many masks in my ‘to try’ stash, it’s the kind of product I would put on a birthday list as I would be thrilled to receive it.
I’d love to know if you’ve ever tried the Antonia Burrell Mask Supreme 7 in 1 yourself?
