I’ve become quite the fan of Lanolips, after loving their 101 Ointment and Sunshine Ointment so I couldn’t wait to try the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid £8.99. Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid is an ultra rich and creamy whipped lanolin lip treatment which contains organic lemon oil to naturally exfoliate the lips, leaving them soft and fresh.

Lemonaid contains an impressive 70% of ultra medical grade lanolin to deeply condition the lips. The citric acid in the organic lemon oil acts as a natural exfoliator on dry, dead skin so it’s absolutely perfect for this time of year when my lips are super dry and chapped.
The Lemonaid Lip Aid is packaged within a clear squeezy tube, and just like the other Lanolips products, you really have to squeeze the tube to dispense the balm as it’s so, very thick although I’ve found that by rolling the tube between my palms a few times before use, helps the balm to dispense a little easier.
Lemonaid is a slightly thinner in consistency than the 101 Ointment, due to the whipped texture and I squeeze a pin-head size amount onto my fingertip, and then smooth it over my lips. After applying the balm, it does make my lips tingle a little; but that’s completely normal due to the lemon oil and its exfoliating actions.
I love the subtle shimmer and lemon scent and taste within the balm, and it looks so pretty when worn alone or layered over a lipstick. After the balm has worn away, it leaves my lips feeling incredibly smooth, with any dryness being completely healed; it’s like a magic balm although I just wish the tube had an angled applicator to make application a little easier, other than that, it’s a fantastic lip treatment that everyone should own within their lipbalm arsenal. **I’ve been told that the packaging has just been updated, and the new tubes do have a slanted applicator**
