Before I became a blogger, I used to swear by face wipes for removing my makeup before I learnt about how bad they are for the skin when they’re used alone for cleansing the skin. I no longer use any face wipes on my face, but I do use them for removing swatches from my hands when photographing products for my blog. I usually buy Nivea or Garnier wipes, but I spotted that Superdrug had some Superdrug Micellar Facial Cleansing Wipes, which I’d never heard of before but seeing as I love Micellar Water so much, I thought they were worth a go especially as they were only £1.29 for a pack of 25 wipes.
Face wipes differ in price depending on the brand, but it’s around £2.50 to £4 or a pack of 25 wipes from the likes of Nivea, Johnson’s, Garnier and Simple so I didn’t think £1.29 was too bad.
Superdrug Micellar Facial Cleansing Wipes £1.29
Normally when I use face wipes to remove swatches, they do remove the makeup but it can take some time to remove all remnants especially if it’s eyeshadows or eyeliners, but the first time I tried the Superdrug Micellar Facial Cleansing Wipes I was blown away.. yes blown away by a face wipe.
These wipes remove every single trace of makeup incredibly quickly, even lip stains, and are the best wipes I’ve ever tried. They make photographing products for my blog so much quicker, and they leave my hands feeling so soft and smooth whereas other wipes can leave my hands feeling dry.
I wouldn’t use these wipes on my face, but I imagine they’d be super effective for removing face makeup too.. I can’t believe they’re only £1.29 a packet, and I’ve bought five more packs as I’m so impressed – if you’re a blogger/YouTuber that does makeup swatches, you need these wipes…
