The Aldi Lacura makeup and skincare range has become so popular over the last couple of years, especially since they started creating Lacura dupes for iconic products as such Benefit Hoola, Pixi Glow Tonic and NARS Orgasm Blush. I have a small selection of the Aldi Lacura Makeup range to show you today as well as swatches, and I’m so impressed with the quality, especially considering how affordable everything is.
The first two products I have to show you are mascaras with the Aldi Lacura 3D Effect Mascara and the Aldi Lacura Glamour Volume Mascara which are just £2.49 each, and are constantly selling out as they’ve been likened to more higher end mascara formulas such as YSL and Lancome. The mascaras come with the brush separate to the tube so you can see the brush prior to purchase which I think is great, and the mascara has a cap on it to ensure the formula doesn’t dry out either. The Lacura 3D Effect Mascara offers curve, fullness and length whilst the Lacura Glamour Volume Mascara offers maximum volume.
Next up we have the Lacura CC Cream with an SPF of 15, and I have the shade Medium which is just £4.99. It claims to offer flawless coverage for a naturally radiant complexion with a moisturising complex. The packaging is quite simple with a matte, black plastic tube but the formula is surprisingly decent, and the coverage is definitely decent for a CC cream providing you can find a shade which matches you.
If you’re on the hunt for a new eyeliner pencil, the Lacura Eyeliner isn’t the best I’ve tried unfortunately and whilst it’s great it comes with its own sharpener and blender for only £1.99. It sadly is lacking in terms of pigment, and I prefer my eyeliner pencils to be more opaque, especially black liner pencils.
My last Aldi Lacura Makeup product to show you is the Lacura Eyebrow Pencil which again is just £1.99, and this shade is Blonde. This brow pencil comes with a sharpener too, and on the opposite side of the pencil, there’s an handy little brush to blend it out and it’s a really great brow pencil. I wish they offered more shades as I’d definitely be interested in one that matched my dark brows, but for £2 you really can’t complain and the packaging is actually really nice too.
