MAC Painterly Pro Longwear Paint Pot

I’ve been trying to hunt down MAC Painterly Pro Longwear Paint Pot for such a long time, so when I saw it back in stock on the Debenhams website, I knew I had to snap it up. The MAC Paint Pots are highly pigmented eye colours with a creamy consistency that dry down to be long lasting shadows and are available in satin, cream, frost and pearl finishes.

I already own quite a few MAC Paint Pots and I absolutely love them as they’re just so quick and easy to apply. What I particularly love about the MAC Paint Pots is how versatile they are as you can wear them alone, as a base for powder shadows or in Painterly’s case as almost an eyelid concealer.

MAC Painterly Pro Longwear Paint Pot is described as a ‘nude beige’ which doesn’t really do the shade justice in my honest opinion. I’d describe MAC Painterly as being a pink-toned beige which works really well for those with cool undertones, and the shade Soft Ochre is better for warm tones.

I love using Painterly as my eyeshadow base as it evens out the skintone on my eyelids really well as well as helping keep my eyeshadow in place all day. My favourite way to wear Painterly is all over my lids with winged liquid liner and no other eyeshadows for a clean and perfected eye makeup look.

The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots all deliver impressive longevity with no creasing or fading, even after 8+ hours and they’re my absolute favourite cream eyeshadows, especially during the Summer months as they keep my shadow in place come rain or shine. It’s such an hyped product but in my opinion it’s definitely worth the hype, and I will definitely repurchase Painterly once I run out as the shade is so versatile.
