Neve Cosmetics Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette Review

22nd April 2015

I’ve really been enjoying trying Neve Cosmetics products, as they’re all such amazing products and so affordable too. I was particularly blown away by their Elegantissimi Palette, as the pigmentation and buttery texture is incredible so I was excited to try another of their palettes.. this time the Neve Cosmetics Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette €26,80 / £19.55*.

The Neve Cosmetics Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette contains ten massive three gram pans of powder; seven blushes, two bronzers and an illuminator, all of which can be used either wet or dry. The palette itself is a long, dark purple plastic palette which feels robust and sturdy enough for travel.

The Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette contains a stunning range of shades that would suit all skintones and eye/lip colours, and the shades vary in finish too with matte, satin and shimmery options. The palette is incredible value, as each blush/bronzer works out at just £1.95 each, and they’re also enriched with vitamins to ensure long wear and comfort.

Fuchsia Jam: an intense raspberry with a satin sheen.
Emoticon: a matte warm pink.
Sunset: a matte bright orangey peach.
Lotus: a matte pale flamingo pink.
Starfish: an intense golden coral pink.

Bikini: a luminous pinky bronze.
Passion Fruit: a beigy pink with mauve undertones and a satin sheen.
Chocoholic: a matte brown bronzer.
California: a biscuity pink bronzer with a velvety finish.
Plastic: a cream-coloured illuminating powder with a satin sheen.

Even though Neve Cosmetics describe the Neve Cosmetics Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette as having seven blushes, I can only use the five shades on the top row as blushes as the shades on the bottom row (minus the highlighter) are all quite dark-toned.

All ten shades within the palette have an amazing velvety, buttery consistency which applies and blends beautifully into the skin with very little effort. The Neve Cosmetics Blushissimi Blush & Contour Palette pigmentation is really quite strong, so you only need to tap your brush very lightly into the pan, to pick up enough product for both cheeks.

Bronzer wise, I like to use California as it’s not too dark for my pale skin, and I love using the other three bronzer shades as eyeshadows. The highlighter shade Plastic is a gorgeous highlighter as it has a subtle sheen rather than obvious shimmer or glitter, so it’s perfect for everyday wear. I am just so, so impressed with these Neve Cosmetics palettes.. I want them all.
