The Soap & Glory Brow Archery Brow Tint and Pencil is one of my favourite brow products of all time, as I love the precise tip of the brow tint as it allows me to draw hair like strokes within my brows to build up intensity gradually, however it’s not particularly long lasting so I’ve been on the hunt for something with the very same felt tip nib but with better staying power.. which I’ve found. The Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
The Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color £13.50 (although the new packaging is now £16.50) has a super fine brush tip with a waterproof formula and claims that it won’t smudge or run all day long.
From the three shades available, I chose the darkest shade; Dark for my naturally dark, almost black brows. Stila recommend using short, feathery strokes to fill in any sparse areas to mimic natural hairs within the brow.
The nib really is very fine, even more so than the Soap & Glory Brow Archery which makes it so incredibly easy to do my brows. I like that you can go in with a light hand for more fainter strokes, or a little firmer for more intense strokes depending on the look you’re looking for.
I can’t believe how quick and easy this pen is to use, and ‘Dark’ is such a fantastic colour match for my brows as it doesn’t contain any warm reddy tones which is my biggest bugbear when looking for dark brown eyebrow products. If I go in a little too heavy handed or make a mistake, I can use a spooly to correct myself but only if I do it straight away as the ‘ink’ sets very quickly and once it’s set, there’s no budging it.
The longevity of the Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color is impressive as it literally does last all day long, without fading or smudging and I have to use an oil-based makeup remover to remove it at the end of the day as it’s so long wearing. I have nothing but praise for this brow pen.. it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for, and at an affordable price too.
