When it comes to beauty kits, Benefit know how to put together an amazing kit and their newest kit could be their best yet. The Benefit Do The Hoola Beyond Bronze Kit is currently a QVC exclusive, and it contains Benefit’s newest product; Dew The Hoola which Benefit aren’t launching until 2016, so this kit really is worth snapping up. The Benefit Do The Hoola Beyond Bronze Kit is on offer for just £23.16 on the QVC website, and it contains five deluxe sized samples of Benefits products.
The Benefit Do The Hoola Beyond Bronze Kit is packaged within a book-like card box with a mirror within the lid as well as some tip and trick cards on how to use the products within the kit.
The kit includes; Benefit Hoola Ultra Plush Lip Gloss, Benefit They’re Real! Mascara, Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder, Benefit Dew The Hoola Liquid Bronzer and Benefit Benebalm.
Benefit They’re Real! Mascara: described as a jet-black mascara which lengthens, curls, volumises, lifts & separates lashes for a spectacular “out-to-here” look. They’re Real! is one of my favourite mascaras as it really does make my lashes look amazing without flaking or smudging throughout the day.
Benefit BeneBalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm: Benebalm claims to condition and hydrate with mango butter and sodium hyaluronate. Whilst imparting a rose-tinted kiss of sheer, buildable color. BeneBalm has a subtle rose scent and flavour and it leaves my lips subtly shiny whilst hydrated.
Benefit Dew The Hoola Liquid Bronzer: a liquid bronzer that doesn’t contain any shimmer or glitter particles to my delight. The pump dispenses a tan coloured gel which can be used under your makeup, or mixed in with your foundation for a bronze glow.
I did initially assume that the shade was too dark for me, but it’s actually very sheer and wearable so it’s very pale-skin friendly.. so much so, I think those with medium skintones might struggle to see any colour payoff. It’s very lightweight in terms of texture, and it leaves behind a lovely golden glow without being too warm or orange toned.
I am looking forward to wearing this alone during the Summer, when I don’t need a full foundation routine.
Benefit Hoola Ultra Plush Lip Gloss: I already own the full size which I reviewed here. Hoola is a sheer nude gloss which contains tiny gold shimmer particles, and it looks pretty when worn alone or layered over nude or pink lipsticks without any stickiness.
Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder: Possibly Benefit’s most iconic product, and another I’ve reviewed in full in this post. Hoola is a matte, warm toned bronzer which is a little too dark for my skintone when used as a bronzer but I do like it as an eyeshadow. I love that the Hoola in this kit is packaged within a plastic case, so you could easily pop it in your makeup bag.
The Do The Hoola Beyond Bronze Kit is such an amazing set, especially for only £23.16 with five products and that you get to try Benefit Dew The Hoola before it even launches. This really is Summer makeup in a kit, and I’d really recommend snapping it up whilst you can before it goes back upto full price.
