Estée Lauder Makeup Brush Cleanser

I am a massive fan of the bareMinerals Quick Change Brush Cleaner, but I don’t like how quickly I get through the bottle as it only contains 110ml and costs £10, so I’ve been on the hunt for another effective spot cleaner for my makeup brushes that is much better value. I’ve tried so many spot cleaners but it’s so hard to find a good quality cleaner that works to quickly spot clean my brushes, without leaving a greasy residue on the bristles of my brushes. After trialing and testing numerous brands, I’ve finally found the perfect spot cleaner; the Estée Lauder Makeup Brush Cleanser which is only £12 and it contains 235ml of product.

In my search, I wanted to find a cleaner that has a spray dispenser and one that doesn’t need rinsing out as that completely negates the convenience of spot cleaning.. If I’m going to rinse my brushes, I may as well give them a thorough and proper cleanse. The Estée Lauder Brush Cleaner has a great spray pump which spritzes a super fine mist which coats the bristles enough to loosen all makeup and grime, but it doesn’t soak and drown the bristles.

To use this cleanser, you simply spritz directly onto the brush head and then swirl the brush on a piece of kitchen towel (normal tissue is a no-go as it breaks up and covers your bristles in fibres) until the bristles are completely clean. If I’m cleaning a foundation brush, I like to spritz the brush and also the kitchen towel to ensure all of the bristles are thoroughly clean.

I think that this Estée Lauder Brush Cleaner is even better than the bareMinerals Quick Change Cleaner.. it cleans my brushes so quickly and effectively, and it doesn’t leave any residue on my bristles whatsoever and my bristles dry within a matter of a minutes which is amazing for a brush cleaner.

I think this cleaner is incredible value as you get a 235ml bottle for just £13 which is fantastic compared the bareMinerals, and I wholeheartedly recommend the Estée Lauder Makeup Brush Cleanser if you’re looking for an effective spot cleaner for your brushes.
