Huge Essence Haul

I’ve become a massive Essence fan, ever since they finally launched here in the UK back in late 2013 (I wrote about the launch here). Two years later, I’ve tried quite a few of their products and I’ve been so impressed with the quality, especially as everything is incredibly affordable. Essence have released quite a few new products recently, so I decided to make a Huge Essence Makeup Haul on the Wilko’s website and I wanted to share my purchases here on my blog, as it’s been a while since I featured an haul.

The choice available is amazing, as they stock a massive 456 Essence products, although sadly they were out of stock of the one thing I really wanted.. the Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel in the darkest shade.

I opted for three different concealers.. the Essence Match 2 Cover Cream Concealer £2.50, the Essence Stay All Day 16hr Concealer £2.50 and the Essence Stay Natural Concealer £2.

I don’t know if they’ll be a good match shade wise, but I’m interested to see how they compare as I’ve read great reviews on all three. The shade range of the base products is pretty poor in all honesty, with only three shades available in most of their concealers.

I bought the Essence Sun Club 2 in 1 Bronzing Powder in Sunset £3.50, as I already own and love the shade Sunshine (reviewed here). Sunset is a gorgeous matte bronzer, with a peachy blush whereas Sunshine is a matte bronzer with a cream highlighter shade.

I also got the Essence Blush Up Powder Blush in Heat Wave £3.50, which is a stunning pink and peach ombre blush that I think will be perfect for Summer.

I bought another of the Essence Effect Eyeshadows as I love the two shades I already own; Brazil’s Sunset and UK’s Stonehenge. I got the shade Egypt’s Treasure for only £1, as they’re being discontinued.

One of the Essence products that’s particularly hyped is the Essence I ♥ Stage Eyeshadow Base £2.50, which I had to try for myself and I was really intrigued by the Essence Volumizing Lash Powder as an alternative to a fibre mascara.

I bought two different holographic topcoats.. the Essence Holographics Effect Nail Polish £2.00 and the Essence Shake Me I’m Pretty Top Coat £2.00 which are both clear, with tiny holographic fragments suspended within them. Both of them are stunning, and they can be used with any colour of polish.

Next up, I got two of the newer Essence 3D Eyeshadows £2.80 in the shades Irresistible Chocolates and Irresistible Caramel Cream.. which both look so pretty. I also got two of the Essence Gel Eyeliner Pencils £2.30 in the shades Urban Jungle and Black Blaze, and the Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen £2.50 which has the most amazing, sharp nib.

Lastly in my Huge Essence Makeup Haul.. I got a selection of lip products. Two of the Essence XXXL Lipglosses; one in Shy Beauty from the Nude range £2, and one in Velvet Rose from the Matte range £2.30.

I chose one of the Essence Lipliners in the shade Wish Me a Rose £1 as I have a couple already and they’re such lovely liners. Lastly… three of the Essence Lipsticks; two from the Nude range in Cool Nude and Porcelain Doll £2.30, and one from their regular line in Natural Beauty.

I’m really looking forward to trying the products in my Huge Essence Makeup Haul, so if there’s something in particular you’d like me to review, please let me know in the comments below.
