Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Goddess of Faith Triple Baked Highlighter

If you read my 2014 Beauty Favourites, you will have seen that the Makeup Revolution Goddess of Love Baked Highlighter feature.. it’s my absolute favourite powder highlighter, so I was excited when Makeup Revolution added even more shades to their Blushing Hearts range. The Goddess of Love Highlighter is the prettiest, iridescent pinky lilac shade which really compliments my skintone and the texture is beautifully silky and smooth, so it’s hard to believe they’re only £4.99 each. From the new range of shades, I opted for Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Goddess of Faith as it looked a little more golden than the Goddess of Love.

The packaging of the Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts is so pretty.. with their heart shaped triple baked powders packaged within cardboard hearts; similar to the packaging of the Too Faced Sweethearts powders.

The packaging is lightweight although it does show signs of wear very easily due to it being made from card, so I wouldn’t recommend travelling with these powders as they would damage very easily.

Each of the Blushing Hearts blushes have a lid which is colour coded to the shade inside, but the Blushing Hearts highlighters all have white lids which all have ‘Goddess of Love’ on the top and you have to look on the back to see the shade inside.. I really would prefer the shade to be on the front, or for the lids to differ in colour so it’s easier to tell them apart.

The Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Goddess of Faith  has the very same, incredible texture and formula as the Goddess of Love and is very finely milled so you can use your fingertips to apply it, or a brush.. and you can even dampen your brush before applying the powder should you want a more metallic, intense highlighted effect.

I would describe Goddess of Faith has being more shimmery than Goddess of Love, as the Goddess of Love gives a much more subtle iridescent glow to the skin whereas Goddess of Faith contains shimmer particles. Goddess of Faith is a gorgeous slightly pink toned champagne shade which I imagine would suit all skintones, and it makes for a pretty eyeshadow too.

I really do think that the Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts highlighters are the best drugstore highlighters, and it’s crazy that they’re only £4.99 each..
