Neve Cosmetics is a cruelty free Italian makeup brand, with good quality and affordable products that contain no parabens, silicones or petroleum derivatives. After being so impressed by the Neve Cosmetics Hide and Seek Concealer, I was intrigued to try more from the brand so I picked the Neve Cosmetics Nebbia Fissante Makeup Fixing Mist as I’m on the hunt for the perfect makeup setting spray. The Nebbia Fissante Makeup Fixing Mist can be used in three different ways; firstly as a makeup fixer, also as a base for makeup as well as being used on a brush before applying any powder products to increase their intensity.

To use the mist as a setting spray, the directions recommend spritzing the Neve Cosmetics Nebbia Fissante Makeup Fixing Mist 20cm away from the face to keep your makeup in place all day. As a base, you simply spray the skin before applying any makeup and it will supposedly help foundation to adhere better with greater coverage.
Then lastly to use on the brush before applying powder products, simply spritz the mist onto the brush before applying eyeshadow, blusher or bronzer for a more intense, longer lasting finish. The pump on the bottle is fantastic as it sprays an incredibly fine mist over the skin, so my face isn’t left feeling wet like it does when I use the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
I really like that Neve Cosmetics have made it a fragrance free spray, as it doesn’t choke you when you spray it and it’s really gentle for my sensitive skin. I’ve been using it on my face before applying my primer and foundation, and then over the top of my finished makeup and I’ve definitely noticed that my makeup stays in place for longer, and prevents my blush or highlighter from fading throughout the day.
I’m not sure it does anything to combat oil, so it’s perhaps better suited for those with normal to dry skin, where oil and shine isn’t a problem but it’s perfect for my dry skin.
