Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur and Brighten Concealer

Soap & Glory is one of my favourite highstreet beauty brands, but they don’t have the most extensive range of base products so when they released a new concealer, I knew I wanted to try it. The Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur and Brighten Concealer is available in just two shades which isn’t brilliant let’s be honest, but I opted for the lightest shade ‘light’ when ordering online and crossed my fingers that it wouldn’t be too orange, as I couldn’t find any decent swatches online.

The Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur and Brighten Concealer is only £6 which I thought was pretty cheap compared to the rest of their products, as they’re mostly around the £8-£11 mark.

The Soap & Glory Kick Ass Blur and Brighten Concealer is described as a multi-action, no nonsense concealer crayon that blurs imperfections and banishes shadows for a flawless finish and long lasting coverage.

The crayon is contained within a twist-up plastic pencil which makes application quick and fuss-free although I wouldn’t recommend using the nib directly on blemishes as it’d potentially spread bacteria around your face.. instead use a brush to apply to blemishes, or draw some on the back of your hand and then use your fingers.

The concealer is really creamy and soft so it’s really easy to apply and blend both with fingers and a brush. Sometimes concealers can be quite dry so they’re difficult to apply under the eyes, but the formula of this concealer is ideal for the undereye area. I’d describe the coverage as being medium, but it does cling a little to blemishes so I prefer to use it under my eyes instead.

The shade is pretty dark for me, but it would be a much better shade match if it didn’t have such a strong yellow tone to it, as I have to use it under my foundation. If you have a warm undertone, I’d recommend giving this concealer a try as it’s really quite good especially considering it’s only £6.
