Too Faced are fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands as I’ve been so impressed with everything I’ve tried thus far. I’ve read so many rave reviews of the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer £25, especially their paler Milk Chocolate version for paler skin so I decided I needed to try it for myself. The Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a matte, shimmer-free bronzer which contains antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and is paraben and cruelty free.
The Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is packaged within a golden chocolate coin inspired compact which I love, with a mirror within the lid and it contains 10 grams of product which is great value compared to NARS Laguna Bronzer that contains only 8 grams and costs £27.50.
What makes the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer so unique, is that the powder actually smells of chocolate due it containing real cocoa powder; it smells so amazing. I really like how sturdy the packaging is on this bronzer as it’s very solid and would be perfect for carrying in a makeup bag without getting damaged.
Colour wise, the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in my opinion actually translates to a slightly different colour to what you see in the pan. In the pan it looks quite orangey, but on the skin it’s a little more cool toned which I imagine could look slightly ashy on warmer toned skin. For pale skin like mine, it really is perfect and perhaps the most perfect bronzer I’ve ever found for pale skin.
Due to the slightly cool undertones of the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, you could easily get away with using it for contouring with a light hand but I prefer to use it as a bronzer and use the NYX Taupe Blush for contouring..
Not only is the colour spot on with this bronzer, the texture is amazing as it’s very finely milled so it applies and blends so smoothly into the skin. I really like that I can apply the powder with a fluffy brush, and I don’t have to spend ages trying to diffuse it into the skin.
I love using the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer to add a little warmth into my skin, but my favourite use has actually been to use it as a crease shade for any eyeshadow look.. it just makes my eyeshadow look so polished. I am so glad I bought this bronzer.. it really is worth every penny and I can imagine myself forever repurchasing it.
