Zoeva is my absolute favourite brand when it comes to makeup brushes, and I’d recommend their brushes to anyone. After being so impressed with their amazing makeup brushes, I started trying some of their makeup products and I’ve been equally impressed and I’ve already reviewed the Zoeva Luxe Color Gentle Touch Blush here on my blog. The newest Zoeva makeup release is the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette which costs just £18, and just like their other eyeshadow palettes, it contains ten shades.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

The Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette is inspired by a box of decadent, rich chocolates and the packaging reflects this. The palette is packaged within a dark chocolate brown and gold, cardboard palette inside a card sleeve; just like the rest of their eyeshadow palettes. I can’t believe how luxurious the palette looks and feels considering it costs just £15.50, which is such amazing value for a palette of this quality. Each of the ten eyeshadows are very generously sized and contain 1.5g of shadow each which is the same weight as a MAC eyeshadow. The palette contains a mixture of finishes including; matte, satin, metallic, duo chrome, pearl and matte with glitter and as a whole, the palette is warm toned.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Eyeshadow Palette

Bitter Start: a slightly warm cream matte.

Sweeter End: a lilac and peach duochrome with a shimmery finish.

Warm Notes: a rich metallic cranberry.

Subtle Blend: a rich golden chocolate brown with a shimmery finish.

Beans Are White: a matte dark chocolate brown.

Pure Ganache: a warm, orange toned gold with a metallic finish.

Substitute For Love: a warm, orangey brown with a matte finish.

Freshly Toasted: a warm red-toned brown with a matte finish.

Infusion: a very dark brown matte with golden shimmer particles.

Delicate Acidity: a lilac taupe in the pan, but on the eyes it becomes more of a lilac toned brown with a satin finish.

All ten shades within this palette have the most amazing, buttery formula and incredible pigmentation, and all of these swatches are without a primer like all of my eyeshadow reviews. Each of the shades feel almost creamy, even the mattes and they all blend beautifully with little effort. Due to the softness of the shimmer shades in particular, they do create a little fall out but nothing major. I adore the range of finishes within this palette, as it offers so much versatility for a multitude of makeup looks. I honestly cannot recommend the Zoeva makeup brushes or makeup line enough.. their products are all fantastic, and so affordable too.
