Dolce and Gabbana The One Desire Eau de Parfum

Fragrance is my biggest weakness after makeup, and I absolutely love adding new scents to my collection. For fragrance, I love sweet and woody scents such as Thierry Mugler Alien, Diesel Loverdose and Dolce and Gabbana The One, so when I saw that there was a new version of The One, I knew I had to try it. Dolce and Gabbana The One Desire Eau de Parfum is packaged within the most gorgeous black and gold packaging, with the bottle having black glass and gold writing, with a chunky gold lid that features a black gem on the top.. it looks so much more stunning than the original The One, which was in a clear bottle with a plain gold chunky lid.

Dolce and Gabbana The One Desire Eau de Parfum 30ml £54

Dolce and Gabbana The One Desire features top notes of bergamot, mandarin, lychee and lily of the valley. The heart notes contain tuberose, whilst the base consists of caramel, sandalwood and musk and is described as being a sexier version of The One which I wholeheartedly agree with. The One Desire is such a beautiful fragrance.. if you love sexy, woody scents like myself, you really must give this a spritz next time you’re at a perfume counter as you’ll fall in love with in. It’s a strong, sweet and creamy scent which is quite woody thanks to the sandalwood. I would definitely describe The One Desire as being an evening scent, but it’s not overpowering like the original The One.. the silage is a lot softer, which I never expected as it’s a stronger fragrance.

I find that Dolce and Gabbana The One Desire reminds me of Giorgio Armani’s Si, but with a touch more caramel but it really is a beautiful fragrance and Rob really likes it too which is rare as he prefers lighter, floral scents on me but he compliments me everytime I wear it which is always a good sign as men aren’t always particularly observant (or at least mine isn’t). It’s become my new go-to evening scent, although I do wish it was a touch more long wearing as I find that it disappears within four hours but that’s not a big deal when wearing it in the evenings.
