JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcake Review and Giveaway
I love JewelCandle, and I’ve featured three of their candles on my blog so far, which you can read here. JewelCandle are a brand that sell candles that all contain a piece of jewellery valued between £10 and £250, and you don’t know what you’re going to get until you’ve burnt your candle down to reveal the hidden jewel. Recently, JewelCandle have expanded their range to include a new JewelBath Collection which consists of various bath related products; all of which contain a piece of jewellery, just like the candles. The JewelCandle JewelBath Collection features Bath Salts, Bath Bombs, Soaps and Cupcakes and for each product, you can opt for various scents, as well as choosing whether you want a ring, earrings or a pendant.
I was very kindly gifted a JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcake £19.95 (usually £24.95), and I chose the Orange Ice Cream Bath Bomb Cupcake and I opted for a ring version but I was very tempted by the pendant option.
The JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcakes contain shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil and avocado oil, and they’re all 100% handmade with eco friendly resources.
The packaging of the Orange Ice Cream Bath Bomb Cupcake is stunning, with the bath bomb being packaged within a box and then packaged within clear cellophane held together with an orange ribbon.. it’d make for such a gorgeous gift.
The JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcake itself is really quite big and is divided into two sections; the bottom half of the cupcake contains the bath bomb section, and the top half is the body exfoliator section. The two sections can be easily separated by hand, or you can place the whole thing into your bath water and they will separate once the bath bomb begins fizzing away.
The bath bomb looks good enough to eat, and really does look like an icecream sundae with its sugar decoration and orange slice. It smells incredible, and really does smell of orange icecream.
The bath bomb sections contains ground orange peel fragments which disperse into the water as the bathbomb dissolves, and it takes a good ten minutes of fizzing. Once the bath bomb has finished fizzing, it leaves a rich milk on the surface of the water (it doesn’t create any bubbles) which left my skin feeling so soft and smooth.
The exfoliator section of the JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcake contains quite coarse exfoliative granules, so it might for sensitive skin but I found them to be OK for my skin and they do an amazing job at buffing the skin especially post-shave.
I managed to get three uses out of the exfoliator section before it disappeared completely which was pretty good going, although I think you could easily make it last longer if you wanted to. As far as bath bombs go, this is a really nice one and it was exciting waiting for the bath bomb to dissolve so I could get the ring out of the bottom of the base.
When I unwrapped the JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb Cupcake foil packet and saw the ring, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was and I instantly fell in love with it. The rings are all made with Sterling Silver, and this ring has a plain silver band which features a single clear stone in the middle.
I’m not sure what the stone is, but I think it might be a diamond from the many facets and the sparkle but I love it regardless of the stone and will need to pay to get it resized as it’s a K which is teeny for my sausage fingers – but amazing for those of you with tiny fingers. I am so impressed yet again with another JewelCandle offering.
I think it’s fantastic that for £20 you get a bath bomb, a body scrub and a piece of jewellery which could be worth upto £250. JewelCandle have very kindly offered to giveaway a JewelCandle JewelBath Bath Bomb to one of my lucky readers..
