Makeup Revolution All About Pink Ultra Blush Palette Review / Swatches

The Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palettes are amazing value as they’re just £6 each and they contain eight different blush shades, and I’ve already reviewed the Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar Ultra Blush Palette earlier this year. I really liked the consistency and blendability of the Golden Sugar Palette, but the shades were all a little too warm for my pale skintone, so I bought the Makeup Revolution All About Pink Ultra Blush Palette as the shades looked a lot more wearable from the swatches I’d seen online.

The Ultra Blush Palettes are so sleek and are packaged within slim, long glossy black plastic palettes with rose gold writing. I really like how slim the palettes are as they take up very little room, and each palette contains a sizable mirror within the lid. Each of the Ultra Blush Palettes contain six blush shades, and two highlighter shades in large circular pans.

As you can see, all eight shades are intensely pigmented… these swatches are without primer as always, and are from circling my fingertip in each pan just twice – incredible pigmentation I think you’ll agree. The eight blushes are mainly matte, except there is one satin blush (third on the top row) which makes me very happy as I much prefer matte blushes as I find them to be much more flattering.

The highlighters are pretty intense.. the top one is a champagne gold, and the bottom one is an icy white/silver shade, and they both need to be applied with a light hand or they can look a little frosty, unless that’s the look you’re going for. I am beyond impressed with this Makeup Revolution All About Pink Ultra Blush Palette..

I can’t believe it’s only £6, as that works out as just 75 pence a blush/highlight, and the quality is superb. I like my blush to be quite subtle so I like to apply them with a fluffy blush brush like the Real Techniques Blush Brush, or a fluffy duo fibre brush to ensure my blush isn’t too bright but if you love bold and vivid blushes, this palette would be ideal as it’s packed with bold blush..
