Maybelline Creamy Beige Leather Effect Color Tattoo Review and Swatches

I really love cream eyeshadows, and I use at least one shade everytime I do my makeup and the Maybelline 24Hr Color Tattoos are the best drugstore cream eyeshadows in my opinion and they cost just £4.99 each. Maybelline release quite a few limited edition shades over in the US which makes me so jealous, but I was really happy when the Leather Effect collection made it’s way over here to the UK as the original line up of shades was lacking more neutral shades. I already reviewed the Chocolate Suede Leather Effect Color Tattoo here on my blog, which is a gorgeous, rich chocolate brown which contains golden and purple shimmer and today I have the Maybelline Creamy Beige shade to show you.

The Maybelline Creamy Beige Leather Effect Color Tattoo is a warm, light brown which doesn’t contain any shimmer particles but has a pretty sheen to it. Pigmentation wise, Creamy Beige is definitely the sheerest Color Tattoo I’ve tried as it’s not as opaque as the other shades but I think that’s what makes me love it so much.. it’s ideal for creating an everyday, neutral eye look which takes a matter of seconds to create.

I really like that the shade adds definition, and that it can be worn alone or as a base for powder shadows. During the last month or so, I’ve found myself gravitating towards this shade almost every day as it stays put all day long without creasing or fading even in this high humidity and it goes well with almost any other shade of shadow. I love a shadow which is no fuss to apply, and I can use my fingertips to apply it or a brush depending on how much time I have.

The Maybelline Creamy Beige Leather Effect Color Tattoo can be purchased for £4.99 from Superdrug or Boots.
