Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette

Stila is one of my favourite makeup brands, but I think their products are really underrated and they should get a lot more praise than they do. One of my favourite Stila product ranges is their Convertible Colors, so when I saw that they’d released their Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette as part of their Summer collection, I knew I had to snap it up as soon as it launched on the Stila UK website.

The Stila Field of Florals Palette is £30, and contains twelve shades of the Stila Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Creams and all twelve shades are inspired by flowers.

The Color Convertibles are my favourite cream blush formula of all time as they’re all so creamy and pigmented, but they’re incredibly easy to blend when worn as blushes and they leave a subtle luminosity to the cheeks without looking greasy or shiny.

They make for pretty lip tints too, but in all honesty, I much prefer to use them as blushes but I love that you can wear the same shade on the lips and your cheeks should you wish to. This palette is quite a good size, but it’s still compact enough to be travel friendly and it has a great sized mirror within the lid. This palette would be perfect for travel as you don’t have to worry about smashed or damaged powders.

Hibiscus: warm pinkish red.

Gerbera: soft nude peach.

Petunia: soft rosy pink.

Fuchsia: bright hot pink.

All of these swatches were done with my fingertip being circled around the pan just twice, just to emphasise how amazing the pigmentation is on every single shade.. there isn’t one dud within the whole palette. The pigmentation is just as strong as the full size Convertibles Colors, and the formulation is identical too.

I am head over heels in love with this palette, and I’d go as far as saying it’s my favourite release from all of the Summer collections this year. I think £30 is such great value for twelve generously sized pans, especially when you only need the tiniest amount per application.

I love that the shades can be used on the lips and the cheeks, and I’ve even found that a couple of the brown toned shades can be used for contouring/bronzing too. The Stila Field of Florals Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Palette  is a limited edition palette, so I’d highly recommend snapping one up as soon as possible as it’s guaranteed to sell out quickly.
