Birchbox X Skinnydip November 2015

15th November 2015

When beauty boxes announce collaborative boxes, I’m never really excited about them however when I heard that Birchbox were collaborating with Skinnydip for their November box, I was definitely excited and I couldn’t wait to see what the box included.

For November, subscribers will receive one of two special box designs, and you can see them both above – they both feature a gorgeous, pastel clam shell design with gold branding the middle. I absolutely love the two box designs, and I think they might be my favourite Birchbox design so far.

Alongside the special box designs, Birchbox are including a £10 voucher for the Skinnydip London website, and they also have an option where you can upgrade your box….

You can choose to upgrade your box for £4, and if you do, you’ll receive this amazing Birchbox X Skinnydip holographic clam shell design phone case.

I love this case so much, as I love anything holographic but it really does look incredible on my phone and it’s well worth the £4 considering it has a value of £12, and Skinnydip cases are great quality as I already own a couple.

The first item in the Birchbox X Skinnydip November 2015 box is a 50ml size of the Cowshed Cowpat Moisturising Hand Cream worth £8 which is a naturally nourishing hand cream for hard working hands. It promises to replenish precious moisture with a blend of chamomile and calendula, as well as pure essential oils of lavender, grapefruit and cinnamon.

I was happy to see something from Living Proof within the box, as I’ve seen their products feature in a lot of YouTube videos and blog posts lately but I’ve not tried anything from the brand until now. I got the Living Proof Restore Instant Repair in a 30ml sample size which is worth £6.35.

This is supposedly a complete breakage solution which instantly mends and transforms. Its smoothing formula will also strengthen and seal the protective outer layer of the hair, preventing up to 93% of new split ends. It sounds like quite the wonder product so I’m looking forward to trying it out for myself very soon.

Next up is a teeny Lord & Berry Silhouette Neutral Lip Liner which is a transparent lipliner which can be used to prevent feathering and bleeding of lip colours, as well as a primer before applying your lip product of choice.

Then we have a 10ml sample of the REN Wake Wonderfurl Night Time Facial worth £8, and is described as having an unique three-phase complex, the luxurious facial transforms skin overnight to leave you with a brighter, refined complexion.

It contains tropical fruit acids which work to exfoliate skin to remove dead skin cells, revealing smooth, radiant skin. Minerals and sugars energise cells and omega oils repair and soothe skin, whilst improving the natural healing process.

The last two items in the box are a 10ml sample of the Trilogy Makeup Be Gone Cleansing Balm worth £2.40, which contains pure plant oils including mango butter and coconut oil to melt makeup away as well a 2ml perfume sample of the English Laundry Notting Hill fragrance. We all know how I feel about perfume samples in boxes so I wont you bore you again.

So they are all the contents of the Birchbox X Skinnydip November box. I think it’s a good solid box this month, and I’m particularly pleased with Living Proof and REN being featured but the star item for me has to be the phonecase when upgrading as it’s such an amazing case. I’d love to know if you got anything different in your boxes?
