HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower

Being the makeup obsessive that I am, I love to organise my makeup which might sound a little strange but I really enjoy switching up and rotating my makeup frequently between my sets of Ikea Alex drawers, and my acrylic storage. I’ve got a few different acrylic makeup drawers and organisers on my dressing table, and most bloggers rave about the Muji drawers but I’ve had a really bad experience with their storage as it splits and cracks so easily, so I’ve been looking for the perfect acrylic storage tower to replace my Muji drawers altogether and I found the perfect solution; the HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower from HerClutterBox.

There are a lot of different brands which make large acrylic towers but to be quite honest, most of them are extortionately expensive for what they are (we’re talking £300 plus) but the HerClutterBox acrylic storage systems are actually pretty affordable in comparison and I am so impressed with the quality.

HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower

HerClutterBox currently have three different acrylic storage systems on their website, and I have the smallest set available which as you can see isn’t small whatsoever but it is the HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower which is £129 which I think is amazing when you compare it to the price of other acrylic storage brands. The HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower is made from clear, high grade durable acrylic, and it really is great quality; I hope you can see how thick the acrylic is in these photos, so it’s a lot stronger and it’s going to last really well too.

The 4 Drawer Tower comes with three standard drawers, and one extra deep drawer, and it comes with two sets of grid dividers which I use in the top two drawers but you can use them in any of the four drawers and they’re just so handy to help section your makeup and I like that you can move the dividers around to make bigger and smaller sectioned areas to suit different makeup products.

The top of the tower is a flip top lid which is so handy, as you can choose to use the top drawer as a standard sliding drawer, or you can flip the lid back to stand products within the top drawer for extra space. I’m currently using the top drawer as sliding drawer, but I’m tempted to have a shuffle around and use the top drawer to house my perfume bottles but I really love the versatility with this storage system.

The top drawer houses most of my current favourite lip products. I much prefer lipgloss to lipstick, so I have four of my favourite NYX Butter Glosses and all of my Sigma Lip Vex Lip Glosses and Tanya Burr Glosses as I love them, and I find them all so comfortable to wear. I have a few of my favourite lipsticks and lip crayons, as well as a lip scrub and lipbalms.

I also keep my nail top and base coats in this drawer as I like to be able to open the lid of the tower to get them as it doesn’t ruin my wet polish trying to find them, or by pulling the drawer out. I also have my hand sanitiser in one of the back sections which I always use before I apply my makeup, although I’m dying to get my hands on the new Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Hand Sanitiser as I love the Sugar Crush fragrance.

The next drawer in my HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower is my eye and brow drawer. I keep all of my open mascaras in here, as well as all of my brow products, tweezers and tools. In the middle sections I have my favourite eye cream which is the Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream as it really hydrates the skin around my eyes without making my concealer crease. I then have my eyeshadow bases, and under eye concealers, a couple of brow kits and my eyelash curlers at the back.

The third drawer in my HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower houses a few makeup setting sprays, my foundation primers, a few concealers and foundations which are currently on rotation.

I might have a move around in this drawer as I’d like to be able to store a few of my setting powders in here, so I’ll probably swap some of the foundations and pop them back in my Alex drawers as they take up a lot of room and I’m currently only really using the Rimmel 25 Hour Lasting Finish Nude Foundation, as it sits so nicely on my dry skin and it matches me perfectly.

The final drawer which is the deepest drawer looks a little chaotic I must admit, but it’s so deep that I can have all of these products in there and also pop three eyeshadow palettes in there too as it’s so roomy. This drawer is home to my most used cream eyeshadows like the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s and MAC Paint Pots, as well as my favourite single eyeshadows – I love the Clarins Ombré Shadows so I like to keep them in here.

I also have a few of my single eyeshadows that I have been neglecting recently, in the hope that I’ll get more use out of them in here than I would in my Alex drawers. I also have all of my cream eyeshadow pencils as I love using them as a base for powder shadows or just use them on their own. In the back section I have a few blushes and highlighters but it’s the section I change most often as I like to rotate my collection so I don’t neglect anything.

So they are the products which are currently housed within my amazing HerClutter Box 4 Drawer Tower and I absolutely love it, and would recommend it to anyone. It is so generously sized with a width of 29cm, an height of 27cm and a dept of 23cm, and as you can see – it holds so much makeup, and I’ve not even crammed mine full.

I really do like my Ikea Alex Drawers but I much prefer this tower as I can see everything inside the drawers, and I find that I use more of my makeup since I got the tower and I’ve discovered old favourites which i’d forgotten about. I really do think the HerClutterBox Crystal Clear 4 Drawer Tower are great value, and I would love to purchase another set as I’ve been so impressed with this one.
