Juicy Couture Fragrance Duo Rollerball

Juicy Couture has fast become one of my favourite fragrance brands, so when I spotted that Fragrance Direct were stocking the Juicy Couture Fragrance Duo Rollerball containing two of the Juicy Couture fragrances for only £8.99, I knew I had to snap it up as I love rollerball perfumes as they’re so handy for carrying around in my handbag.

The Juicy Couture Fragrance Duo Rollerball contains two 5ml mini bottles of Juicy Couture fragrances; one side is Juicy Couture the original, and the other is Juicy Couture Couture La La, and I hadn’t tried either fragrance before purchasing the rollerball, so I was intrigued to see what they were like. I thought £8.99 was an amazing price for 10ml of Juicy Couture fragrance, and I loved that the rollerball featured two different fragrances. The middle of the rollerball is metal, and it works as a lid for each of the rollerballs which screw into each side of the metal lid to keep them from drying out.

Juicy Couture Eau de Parfum is described as being an opulent floral fragrance with top notes of mandarin orange, watermelon, passion fruit and green apple. The middle notes are tuberose, rose and lily whilst the base notes include gourmet caramel, creme brulee, vanilla, precious wood and patchouli. I thought the notes sounded like the kind of fragrance which I’d enjoy but in all honesty, I’m really not a fan.. it’s a strong white floral scent which smells a little too heady for my liking but I’m pleased I tried it in this rollerball, as I now know I definitely wouldn’t want the full size as I just don’t like it.

Juicy Couture Couture La La Eau de Parfum is completely different to Juicy Couture – it’s absolutely gorgeous, and is described as being a punk-rock more up to date version of the original Juicy Couture. The top notes are mandarin, green apple and red currant, whilst the heart is made of white flowers of lily of the valley and orange blossom mixed with powdery violet leaves with the base hosting sensual musk accords. Couture La La is a lovely, sweet and fruity fragrance with a zesty citrus twist. I really do love this fragrance and I’m going to buy the full size as it’s so different to anything else I own and it’s the perfect daytime scent.
