When I first got my hands on this year’s Boots Christmas Gift Guide, just like every year, I flicked through the pages until I reached the Soap & Glory gift section as Soap & Glory are one of my favourite brands, and I always love their Christmas gift sets as they’re such good value and the packaging is always quite imaginative. This year’s gift range definitely didn’t disappoint, and I have quite a few of their gifts to show you in the coming weeks. The Soap and Glory Perfect Scents Gift Set instantly caught my eye as it was a mixture of bath/body as well as homeware which I thought was really unique, as it contained their Hand Food Hand Cream, Hand Food Hand Wash as well as an Hand Food Reed Diffuser; all for just £16.
Every Christmas, Soap & Glory always do a hand wash and hand cream caddy which I buy without fail each Christmas as Hand Food is one of my all time favourite hand creams, and I love having the matching hand wash which you can’t buy individually.
The Soap and Glory Perfect Scents Gift Set contains a 250ml bottle of the Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream and a 250ml Hand Food Hand Wash which are amazing. I love the Hand Food scent, as it’s scented with the ‘Original Pink’ fragrance which is one of their most classic scents, and I really like layering the fragrance by using the hand wash followed by the hand cream.
I really wish Soap & Glory sold their hand wash, as it’s one of my favourites so I wish I could get it all year round instead of only at Christmas. I did keep the hand cream on the side of my sink in my bathroom, alongside the hand wash but I’ve now moved the hand cream into my bedroom and onto my nightstand as the pump dispenser is amazing, and I’ll be refilling the bottle with the Hand Food tube once I’ve finished this bottle as I much prefer a pump.
I think £16 is such an incredible price for this set, as the 250ml size of the hand cream alone is worth £11 ml for ml, so to get the hand wash and diffuser for just £5 more is fantastic.
The diffuser within the Soap and Glory Perfect Scents Gift Set is really nice, and is packaged within a glass bottle with a chrome topper. The scented oil is clear, and it comes with seven reeds which sit nicely within the jar.
Usually with reed diffusers, I find that it takes a couple of hours for the oil to permeate through the reeds and give off a scent, but it took less than an hour for this diffuser as the oil is heavily fragranced and it gives off such a strong scent will fills my lounge. I would so love to see Soap & Glory to come out with an homeware range as I know it would be extremely popular, especially if the products are as impressive as this reed diffuser.
