Soap and Glory Eyes Box

Soap & Glory are killing it with their Christmas gift range this year, and I bought the Soap and Glory Eyes Box as part of a 3 for 2 when purchasing some Christmas presents, because we all know that the third three gift should be a gift to ourselves, don’t we?! The Soap and Glory Eyes Box is £18, and contains four full size Soap & Glory products which can all be purchased individually, so if you were planning on purchasing one of the four items in the run up to Christmas, it’s much better value to spend a little more and purchase this set considering you’re getting a lot more for your money.

Inside the Soap and Glory Eyes Box, there is; the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Precision Shaping Pencil worth £10 in the shade Brownie Points, Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Superblack worth £5, Soap & Glory Supercat Extreme Eyeliner Pen in Carbon Black worth £6, and Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara in the shade Film Noir worth £10.50, which makes the contents within the Soap and Glory Eyes Box worth £31.50 which is a fabulous deal for only £18, and even more so considering it was my ‘free’ gift within the Boots 3 for 2 deal – result!

The Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint and Pencil is the product I was going to purchase individually, and it’s a product I’ve repurchased three times but I’ve never actually featured it here on my blog before which needed rectifying as I’m such a big fan.

The Archery is a dual ended brow pen and pencil, and I like to use the pen side to draw individual brow-like strokes throughout my brows, and then fill any sparse areas with the pencil.

The lids were both closed tightly, but annoyingly the pencil is white and completely dried out and just crumbles as soon as I touch my skin with it so I can’t use it but I can use the pen side, but I am disappointed seeing as it was the reason I purchased the set. However don’t let it put you off, as I’m such a big fan of the Soap & Glory cosmetics line and I’ve never had a problem before.

The Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl Eyeliner Pencils are unbelievably creamy, and buttery soft and they glide across the lid or waterline effortlessly without tugging the skin, and the pigmentation is so intense.

I have a couple of their Kohl liners and I really like them, and they’re long lasting too especially in the waterline and they give the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Liner Pencils a run for their money, and they’re £10 cheaper.

The Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen is a felt tip style liner with a precise nib, but the nib isn’t flexible so it’s not the easiest of liners to apply as it doesn’t bend with the curve of your eyes, but it is really great for creating eyeliner flicks and it doesn’t feather either, and stays put. It isn’t waterproof, but I’ve not experienced any fading or smudging and I like how super black it is.

The last item in the Soap and Glory Eyes box, the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara is one of my favourite mascaras. The brush is described as being a seven sided fan flare 180 degree brush with a ‘V’ groove to lay down volume and intensity, and the formula contains collagen to help fortify the lashes too.

I like how the brush is quite slim, and that the bristles are nicely spaced out so you can get right to the bottom of the lashes for maximum volume and because the bristles are quite short, I find that I don’t make a massive mess like I normally would. If you’re after a mascara that doesn’t flake or smudge, I’d really recommend this mascara as it ticks all of the boxes.
