For the giveaway, Feelunique are giving use the chance to win our five beauty products we’d like to try in 2016 upto £200 and to enter you must; follow Feelunique on Pinterest, and then create your very own #MySomethingNew Pinterest board, where you’ll need to fill it with your new year inspiration related pins, such as travel, fashion, beauty, food and fitness – whatever takes your fancy really, and fits your #MySomethingNew hopes and aspirations.
On my board, I’ve included Spring inspired beauty looks and pretty hair styles I’d like to try and recreate as one of my aims this year, is to be a little more daring with my makeup, and to do more with my hair. I’ve also included some fitness related pins, including some detox drink recipes as I really want to focus on what I’m putting into my body this year, in the hope to be a little more healthy and mindful of how much caffeine I consume. I would love to go on holiday this year, so I’ve included a few idyllic beach pins to help me decide where I’d perhaps like to go.
On your #MySomethingNew Pinterest board, alongside your inspiration pins, you need to go to the Feelunique website and choose five beauty products you’d love to try this year (upto combined value of £200) and pin them to your board too. I have included my Feelunique favourites below, incase you’d like some inspiration on what to add to your board but you really are spoilt for choice as Feelunique have thousands and thousands of amazing beauty products to choose from… BUT the giveaway ends on the 31st of January so you need to be quick!!!
Firstly I’ve chosen the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation £36.50 as it’s a product I’ve been coveting for such a long time after reading such amazing things. I’ve never tried anything from Giorgio Armani before so I’m excited to try their products. This foundation comes in so many different shades, and it’s said to be suitable for those with dry skin so I’m hoping it works well for me.
Next I went for the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base £19.50 as I’ve heard Temptalia rave about it so much and she knows her makeup! I usually use the Urban Decay Primer Potion so I’m intrigued to see how this one compares as it’s more expensive and contains less product than the Urban Decay alternative.
I absolutely love the Macadamia Oil range, and last year I tried the new Macadamia Professional range for the first time and I was really impressed so I thought the Macadamia Perfect Blow Dry Kit was the perfect chance to try more from the range. This kit is such a fantastic deal at £38.50 as it contains three full size products, and the Nourishing Oil Treatment is worth £32.50 alone so to get two extra full size products for £6 is incredible.
My favourite fragrance from 2015 was definitely Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb which I discovered towards the end of last year, but they include a sample of the male version Spicebomb inside the box which is super clever marketing – especially as I fell in love with it, and I’ve been dying to get it for Rob ever since. The Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Gift Set £53 includes a 50ml bottle of fragrance, a 50ml aftershave balm and a 50ml shower gel – and it’s seriously the nicest male scent in the world.
My last pick is the incredible Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Soufflé Body Creme £45 which I tried for the first time thanks to a sample in a Birchbox, but oh my gosh it’s literally heaven in a weighty glass jar. I was tempted by the fragrance but the Soufflé is supposed to last longer on the skin than the fragrance itself – it smells so divine, and my skin has never felt so soft.
