Zoeva 129 Luxe Fan Brush

Zoeva is my absolute favourite makeup brush brand and I’ve been blown away by the quality of every single brush I’ve tried. When it comes to highlighting, I swear by using a fan brush so naturally I had to try the Zoeva fan brush. The Zoeva 129 Luxe Fan Brush is £10.99 from the Zoeva website, but you can also purchase it within the Rose Golden Complete Set Vol 1. The Zoeva 129 Luxe Fan Brush contains a natural and synthetic bristle mix for maximum softness, with a black wooden handle and silver metal ferrule. The bristles are exceptionally soft, and fluffy which are fan shaped to be used for application of powder products or for removing any fall out.

I always use a fan brush for highlighting as I find them to give the perfect application of highlighter, and you ensure you don’t go over the top and end up looking like a sheet of bacofoil. The narrow ‘fan’ allows you to apply a light application along the browbones and cheekbones, as well as the bridge of the nose and cupids bow.

I also enjoy using this brush to apply highlighter lightly over blush as a blush topper as well as dusting loose powder under my eyes after applying my concealer to set it to minimise any cakey creasing.

It is impossible to go wrong when applying powder highlighter with this Zoeva Fan Brush as it picks up the perfect amount of powder. My favourite highlighter to use with this brush is the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder but it works well with any powder highlighter; both pressed or loose powder.

Even though I prefer to use the Zoeva 129 Luxe Fan Brush for applying my highlighter of choice, it is amazing for dusting away any eyeshadow fall out as it’s so fluffy so I might even purchase a second one so I can use one for highlighter and one for sweeping away eyeshadow fallout.

I’d love to know which brush is your favourite for applying highlighter?
